Im from Denmark and I think you would LOVE to look into My favorite haunted castle we have here! Its called Gram Slot and here is it's story (or some of it :3) : It is said that the Duchess of Gram Castle was jealous of her maid because the maid was beautiful and had long, beautiful hair, which the Duchess did not have. One day, the Duchess lashed out at the maid and struck her, causing the maid to fall and hit her head on the iron stove, then land on the floor. The Duchess then walked away and pretended nothing had happened. After a few hours, she asked if anyone had seen her maid. The maid lay dead in a pool of bl00d from her head, and although the other servants tried to clean the bl00d, it was impossible. The bl00dstain is still on the floor to this day, and it is said that the Duchess and the maid still haunt the castle

I love it when it's you and your husband it's more interesting.

My mom stayed at the Stanley when I was just a baby. She said she heard knocks on the door at random times in the night and said that I would act really strange and point at things that were not there. But one thing she says that still scares her is that she saw someone walking down the stairs, and then saw a picture of the guy she saw, I forgot his name but he died and she saw him walking down the stairs. I have always wanted to investigate haunted places but I’m only 13 and my parents wont let me. 😢 Ps. Keep up the amazing work!

You should look up The Mermaid Inn, in Rye. It's very local to me and I've been there many times while growing up. It's had a very long history, including crusaders, smugglers, I think Elizabeth I once stayed there.. it's got secret passages too. (Had to look this next bit up): The current building was built in the 1420s, but parts of the cellar reportedly date back to 1156.

my mom works at a hotel where she said a little boy died, and she says that when she's cleaning rooms or out in the hallway, she'd hear footsteps coming around the corner or going up the stairs, and when she goes to see who it is, no one's there. I'm also pretty sure that one time when it was storming really bad, and she had to stay the night there bc the weather was too bad for my dad to pick her up, she woke up the next day to her door being locked from the inside, and she didn't lock it 😀
