i've been using him with Pain Keeper based on a Bronko video, you can create a taunt loop with Shyek and never get consumed by heads. It's a full auto team, use at whichever difficulty matches your gear, and as long as you don't get 3%'d it goes the full turn limit very often...

@@VillenmerthAzul Well, you’re one step ahead of the majority of the player base 😅. My point was more centred around I feel like a showcase should include obtainable other champs to demonstrate suitability to the majority. Anything with Teox as a core component is catering to the few.
Not really Teox content. You can substitute the Teox for any ally attack or any damage dealer. Yes Teox will provide huge numbers the point of the video - Packmaster gives 20% bonus damage to your team. Therefore with or without Teox the bonus is linear (aka 20% better output from your team if you can optimise the hex).
Yes, understood, and it is a good video showing the benefit of a cursed set on him. I’m not sure you would replace Teox with an ally attack and leave yourself with 1 DPS, would you? That doesn’t sound like a sensible comp. Just feel like any Hydra showcase with Teox or Toshiro is too niche to be particularly relevant. That’s not mentioning the also unavailable Archer as well…
Gore mask is actually really fun to pair with him in normal or hard if you're still not able to the higher difficulties. I ran then both on normal for a bit and put out 200 million damage. I don't use that team anymore since I've built better teams but for progression it's great
People have been way too negative about Packmaster, I'm a late game player and he makes my brutal Hydra team as a mischief tank and block buff user. Taunt is also very underrated in Hydra.
Damn I had no idea, my guy is still fragments, gonna be pulling home next champ chase. Looks like a fun combo. Ridiculous wording on the passive though

If you are not an end game player, Shy'ek can also be valuable for his taunt. As it keeps you from worrying about getting eaten. I make my Shy'ek very slow and my Painkeeper twice as fast to reset his taunt ability. I currently do not have the gear to get their resist high enough, so they eventually fail due to fears. But it gets me a top chest in brutal if I manual the fight.
Hey Saph question, do all these effects that increase damage like packmaster passive and say bonuses from other champs like glacaid in a 9 piece protection and a Yncensa in 9 piece Ferral all stack together or does it just go with 1 who has the most damage increase?
I hope they do still missing a piece of protection and a piece of feral but would love to try this when I get them if they stack that's like 65% increase to damage lol
I have him, with a reasonable soul and haven't really used him. This is quite a handy tip, my Hydra game is pretty weak so I might try and build a brutal team around him.
I've been using Shyek and 2 Fellhounds(wearing mid grade slayer gear) to get 400m dmg in normal hydra on a mid game account. Fellhounds are not useless in Normal and Hard Hydra, usually 150-170m dmg each. We def need better dogs, but Shyek and Fellhounds make a crazy Doom Tower team and decent Hydra.
I don't have teox but I do have Ninja and getting 20% more damage on his A1 when there already doing 2 million damage is well worth it. Thank you for letting us know.
Interesting! I may have to find a way to add him to my Teox comp. Any recommendations for budget Riho options? The first one that comes to mind is Ruella but not sure how she'd fair for hydra. I'm late game so obviously I won't be putting up your level of scores but the strategy in itself definitely seems friendly for people at a few different stages in the game. Edit: Just remembered that I have Lydia waiting to be collected so maybe when I pull her for a champ chase I can utilize her in Riho's place.
i haven't actually pulled his fragments yet so i don't know for sure, but maybe it's worded that way so we understand it won't increase poisons or bombs or hp burn? (it is worded poorly in general though)
I know that Farbstoff has a hydra team with Shyek and a hound (I think it was fellhound) and he did 4 billion or some silly number on brutal and that was 2 months ago
I have no idea why I even got this fusion, but he's not as bad as I thought. I use him as cb stun target and with his A3 he's not all useless everywhere else.
does Teox need to be leader? Having Shy'ek ahead in the order would allow another chance at placing hex before the damage dealers during padraig's ally attack. I guess it would be a question of if thats better than just straight up 450-500 atk on Teox/Quintus
got this guy not built him yet and im dragging myself through the current fusion as I feel this ones going to be the same. smart players will find a use for them and I can try my best to copy it.

Not really underrated, blame is on the wording of his skill. If it actually described his skill correctly more people would use him im sure, shame is costs so many resources to max champions to test how they really work. Thankfully we have people like you to check all these things! Cheers Saph ^^
a non void legendary who is a budget version of another non void legendary is not a good legendary. if he was an epic then yes he would have been great, or if he was a budget version of a good void legendary then yes he would have been good, but not a budget version of the same rarity !
This is complete nonsense, conditional and end end game logic. If u have this set, if u have teox, if u have another champ on hex etc, etc, etc. this champion ain't neither special or enough valuable to be a stand alone champ to replace another spot on a hydra comp.
"This isn't relevant for me, therefore it is complete nonsense". Buddy, some things in this world are not about your own, current perspective. Turn down the ego a bit and learn that not everything is about your point of view.
You can just scale it down to what you have. He can work with something like: Packmaster, Padraig, Whisper (or Varl), Visix, Lydia, Shamael. Probably Lady MIkage instead of Padraig is also decent, especially if you're lucky to have the new void Shadowkin who does silly damage.
Mikage even better @stefanoconrotto9998 because you can extend the duration of hte hex if you are able to get it placed from his passive. Master Hexer can also extend the 1 turn he places when he is attacked.
