The Most Underrated Scooby-doo Video Games 

The instant I saw Night of 100 Frights and Mystery Mayhem on the thumbnail, I was inclined to check this out. Thanks for covering them, a great part of my childhood. I didn't play Unmasked though so thanks for shedding light on it.

Night of 100 frights was the only game I played out of those. The others sound fun

I remember playing through and reading the guides of 100 Frights and Unmasked as a kid on the gamecube, these games are super nostalgic for me and it's neat to see someone talk about them

Unmasked will forever be my all time favorite.

When I was a kid, every weekend my nan would get me and my sister pizza and rent a GameCube from the pizza place for a night. We would always get night of 100 frights to play and we just loved it. One year later when I got a GameCube for Christmas, I got these 3 games with it. Night of 100 frights is my favorite of the three and I still play it from time to time :)

Man, Night of 100 Frights and Cyberchase were my whole childhood. Cyberchase definitely didn’t try to emulate the show but did a great job emulating the movie - it’s worth checking out.

Night of 100 Frights just turned 20. Definitely the best Scooby Doo game.

Unmasked was cool collecting different food items so Shaggy could whip up some meals. Also Scooby's kamehameha

This reminds me of the Shrek Games Nathaniel Bandy covered. The Scooby-doo ones look a bit more interesting though.

First Frights and Spooky Swamp were pretty good. I only played the latter since I could not find the former in stores. Though Spooky Swamp does suffer from a shorter campaign where you only get 2 cases plus a wraparound mystery concerning the swamp itself. Wish it had been longer but was pretty cool with it overall.

To be honest, I've never played the Scooby-doo games that you reviewed before but Scooby-doo first frights was all about my childhood. As a kid I loved this game so much and Daphne was my favorite character to play as. I hope there would be so much viewers out there who love this game as I do. Anyway I like your vid so much as always and take care man!

The only one I didn't like as a kid and now is mystery mayhem,I've always loved the other two,the fact that the boss themes in 100 frights are actual songs is amazing and there actually really good songs

Unmasked was the first game I ever beat and it’s probably the first or one of the first games I ever owned. It’s a really solid game with really well done music, voice work, gameplay, etc. All three of these games are really well done for being “kids games” so to speak

I was 7 years old in 2006 playing Mystery Mayhem on my og xbox. I remember panicking and getting so scared when one of those ghosts went near me hahah. I played this game for HOURS and only made it to the Movie set part. Good times man.

Loved night of 100 frights and mystery mayham throughout my childhood. Hated jumping from ships flags in NO100F as it made getting to a boss completely impossible with it precision jumps. Hope that game get a remake such as battle for bikini bottom rehydrated.

Night of 100 Frights is okay but Mystrey Mayham is a Steaming Pile of Shit and Unmask is a Mediocre Platformer and they are all too easy.

These games are half my childhood and they are hella underated.

Replaying mystery mayhem after finally getting the disc to work and finished it in two days! How nostalgic I felt I didn’t want to put it down, love this game so much. Judging by the looks of the other two I’m sure this would still be my favorite!

What about Scooby-doo first frights and the Haunted Bayoo on Wii? Thoses games are fun! The bosses are differents, huge and have cool designs; my favorite is the robot lobster he's fanst and intimidating especially his glowing eyes. Buying costumes and playing as monsters is fun, finding clues is not too easy, the platforming sections are nice. The music is superb in thoses games. I got them both and played with my little brother, we had a great time last week 😀

As a person who played all theses games I hole heartedly disagree and I can prove that with the multiple 100% save files on night of a hundred frights and unmasked.

100 Frights is def a great open world Metroidvania esque Scooby Game while Mystery Mayhem is a great puzzle solving adventure game which lets you play as Shaggy I also really like Scooby Doo Classic Creep Capers in the Nintendo 64

Really hoping these old gems, based on the classic Scooby Doo series, get released on the PS5 as PSN classics, would really enjoy playing them all over again

Scooby-Doo Unmasked reminded me of Crash Tag Team Racing which was released the same year at PS2, and later at PSP. When looking at the release dates, Unmasked came out first, about a month before Tag Team. So I'm wondering, did Tag Team Racing copied Unmasked, or the other way around? The platforming section of these games is so similar to each other, which is cool!

Honestly ......scooby doo : first fright. Is one of my favorite video games. I love the levels and the setting. The combat is fun. The monsters are cool and I like the art style it's goofy and fun. It's just a fun and enjoyable platform beat em up. Love that game

I actually used to own scooby doo unmasked on GameCube. I borrowed the other two games from family video back when they still had GameCube games available to rent. But out of those 3 games I like mystery mayhem and unmasked the best however I didn’t beat mystery mayhem or night of 100 frights I beat scooby doo unmasked of course because I owned it but I was closer to beating mystery mayhem then I was with night of 100 frights

I don't remember the Mummy glitch on Mystery Mayhem when I played this a lot as a kid on my PS2, either this is only on Xbox or your disc may be scratched or your Xbox may be a bit faulty. Also I'm guessing the issue with the camera inversion option may be because it's probably actually for zooming by moving the right stick up and down rather than turning left and right.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I love Scooby-Doo! First Frights. It's my favorite Scooby-Doo! game. It reminded me of the Lego games and the levels where you had to run from monsters gave me Crash Bandicoot tease lol. I remember having Night of 100 Frights as a kid, but I never finished it.

I have all three games and I don't like Mystery Mayhem as much, but I never got to the basement because the blue ghosts always scare me 😂😂

Mystery Mayhem is the only Scooby Doo game where both him and Shaggy are playable characters the whole time. They were the definitive team in it too. None of the other games replicated it the same way at all unfortunately.

Mystery Mayhem was my favorite and the last few levels were actually kinda creepy as a kid. Though I definitely enjoy these particular games. Now I remember the laugh track when you mess up on the minecart in the western town😂😂

These games need a remaster on the switch and other consoles and even bonus games as well

i finished unmasked when i was 10 years old and mystery mayem when i was 26 because i had the game written on a disc (pirated xbox original version) and the game basically broke and i wasnt able to use the cd anymore. Fast forward 15 years and i emulated the game on ps2 on my pc. Great game and i was surprised how i was able to finish games when english isnt my first language bach at 2003-2004 . Scooby-doo will always be my favourite hero.

I never knew about Mayhem and Unmasked being on console, I had seen the box art for GBA and had played Unmasked on GBA and had a poor time with it, so I never bothered with them again. I'll have to try them out again and experience them. That being said I really hope they do a remake of Night of 100 like they did with Spongebob, but keep true to the og. Like you said it's a great love letter of the og show and really captures what the show was back then. I feel they just did amazing on the scores and immersing yourself into the game that I think people need to rediscover back in mainstream

In real life they should think about making a Remaster compiling the trilogy of Scooby Doo games Where are you? Or even better make a new game. My ideal bestiary would be: Black Knight, Captain Cutler, Mummy Ankha, Green Ghost, Clown, Vampire, Werewolf, Creeper, Zen Tuo, Zombie, Headless specter and Dr Coffin

Never played Unmasked myself, but it looks terrible. I actually really loved Night Of 100 Frights and Mystery Mayhem, they were just really fun to play, I mean I hear people say the story is dumb in Night Of 100 Frights, to which I say "it's Scooby Doo" the whole point of the show is that people are putting on costumes to scare people... and it actually working until the gang gets there to solve the mystery.

Lol my picks are opposite. I loved Unmasked. It was one of my favorite Nintendo Gamecube games. Mayhem was fun, but I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as Unmasked

I always wanted to play Mystery Mayhem, because it was the only one I didn't have as a kid. But when I bought it recently and played it, I was so frustrated with the gameplay. It was so boring compared to Night of 100 Frights and Unmasked. Not to mention the annoying minigames in each episode. Honestly the GBA version is probably better than consoles in my opinion

Unmasked is criminally under-rated, great platform game and has difficulty even for adults. Highly reccommend this hidden gem

i played both 100 frights and mystery mayhem as a kid on the PS2 and although for me 100 Frights is the goat i loved playing them both so much with my brother and mum, although i was terrible at games it seems because i could never figure out how to finish 100 frights then when my brother was playing it years later we figured it out and felt stupid. but back then i could replay the story soo much until i got to that and enjoy every minute of it. mystery mayhem i cant tell you how long i was stuck trying to figure out that piano puzzle until me and my mum done it then the lab i was on for little bit but figered it out. amazing games and i watched the show all the time as a kid.

I only played Mystery Mayhem back when I was a child, I didn't know it was made by the people who made DBD.

That console isn’t solid of a build hate to tell you that. The only reason it’s working now is because you haven’t had it plugged into a wall most likely. There is a defective part that will eventually leak acid onto the motherboard and your console will be broken. So only plug it in when your planing on playing.

until i watched this video i had completely forgot about mystery meyhem and then realised the hourssss i put in on this game whilst also being too young and stupid to even understand whats going on, the bookshelf mission i remember being stuck on for ages. i also loveeeee the landscapes they used, the wild west and the hollywood one were soooo fun
