I toast spaghetti in oven, Make a tomato sauce with stock and chilies, cook the spaghetti in the tomato, chili broth.. top with queso anejo cheese( hope spelled right?) I did have similar in Mexico so tried my own lol.
I make my hubby spaghetti with homegrown homemade meat sauce, but b4 the sauce goes on the noodles ,IT GETS COVERED WITH CHEDDAR CHEESE!. SO YUMMY! also homemade bread sticks that are to die for!
I only use to add some green pesto to my spaghetti, but this recipe brings it to a whole other level. I'll definetly try it, also because I have never eaten tomatillo before. Very excited to taste it 😋
You are now my new favorite cooking channel. You had me at the fish taco video and when you said you like lots of "BLACK PEPPER".on this video I make the pepper grinder person at the salad place break a sweat when putting in on my salad. I ALWAYS give them a better tip if they don't slow down on the twisting.
Great Bonus Tip on dehydrating the charred skins from peppers. Thank you. Wish I had thought of that years ago, but at least I know it now. Great videos on your channel.
Looks delicioso! I’m born and raised in Texas but live in New Mexico. This is a dish I’m gonna make for sure. Poblanos are my favorite peppers especially in rellenos. Think I’d like a smokey sliced grilled ribeye in it and sprinkled Cotija cheese on top.
Interesting recipe with tomatillos and peppers. Our family favorite pasta recipe is Lemon Shrimp Pasta. I add some extra chili flakes (homemade) to spice it up. I prefer with fresh shrimp. I bet it would taste good with a floral Caribbean pepper like the Scotch Bonnet or Bahamian Goat. Thanks for the roasted pepper peeling hack!
I'm mental about spaghetti in that I can't imagine it other than an Italian way. These flavors are excellent, my pasta choice would be an orzo to simulate a rice like texture. All in all, anything this sauce would be incorporated with..., a tasty endeavor... 🤗✌️❤️🌻🌶
That looks really good… I was actually looking to see if anyone used tomatillos in their pasta as I was planning to use them in a creamy ricotta pesto that make… Have you tried adding (tempering in) an egg or two to thicken the sauce?
My favorite Pasta preparations are Singapore Rice Noodles (not sure what the seasoning used are, I believe curry) from a certain place nearby; and my own spiced pasta with green-leafy vegetables (no specific recipe for it; the preparation is approximate and not from anything published).
Tomatillos are easy enough to work with, seem less wet than tomatos, and making a tomatillo sauce is very easy; and no need for any recipe! Just cut into small pieces, put a little oil in a pot, and whatever seasonings you like and the tomatillos. Sauce cooking time can be about 20 to 30 minutes.
Awesome mike, can make soon just need Poblanos lol. Idk how to divide this yet for everyone. I'll make just Poblanos, have an Italian salsa Verde on side(serrano peppers, anchovy paste) side.. be simple summer Wednesday dinner.. don't think need chicken or meat?? Might get some mushrooms and roast as meat? Hard to believe but girls say make too much meat🤷, some roasted mushrooms I love so why not be hero😂🤣
@@ChiliPepperMadness getting heat for too much heat lately, and everything meat.. some things I can divide but going to try make all happy🤷, idk if done diet phase or something, but I learned one thing don't argue with women, just admit wrong🤣😂🤣😂🍺
