Sold very well, but strangely it gave that vibe. So many great games! Ever Oasis, Kid Icarus Uprising, Fire Emblem Awakening, and A Link Between Worlds are easily at the top of my list.
Man i want a smash run port for ultimate Even if it's the exact same thing from the 3DS version (not including the graphics :v) That mode made me lost track of time when I had free time, it was just fun
You're saying the shit that people who think that smash 3ds was incredibly overlooked and are glad that someone is giving it the love it deserves believe in their hearts man.
Literally every morning on the bus to school I see one kid with an original 2ds playing smash run. I wish I knew where mine was so that I could street pass him.
@@goon5665 That's less a gimmicky idea and more a poorly designed controller. They're basically Wii Remotes resized for the Switch, and we all know how well the Wii Remote worked.
Kirby's Air Ride is one of the most underrated games of all time and to see it being put in a Smash game fits so well Too bad it wasnt in Wii U/Ultimate
When I first got Smash for 3Ds, Smash Run the only mode I actively played. Like all my 1k playhours on this game are literally 95% this mode lol I really loved playing it
My best memories with this game was playing with my buddies at school during lunch. This game will always be special for being the first portable smash game
I’m so happy Alex is back to the normal shmoove of things I knew those allegations were complete bull, they canceled him but the real ones stuck through till his name was cleared And now Gannon amibo is finally back! Yoo bring monika and we have the whole crew!
7:36 This music is the one I chose for this game mode. It just fits it so well. This music brings me some of the best memories I've had playing this game
100% agree with you man! I was actually playing Ultimate earlier and I was comparing the stages between 3DS and WII U and I thought to myself, damn 3ds had all the good stages.
Smash 3DS came out at the perfect time when I was in college and saw all my friends at the lunch table between classes. All of us having a copy of Smash to play with each other any time we wanted was absolutely fantastic, and yeah, Smash Run is a criminally underappreciated mode that should absolutely come back to the series at some point.
Man this was a nostalgia trip for me, loved Smash 3DS so much I played so much Smash Run. I always went with super bruiser sets which made every interaction kill of be killed
Smash Run was great. I just wish we’d have been able to interact/see other players on the map and choose the challenge at the end. That race-game was dope!
I grinded very hard to beat classic with every character, beating all star with every character, getting all achievements, and collecting ever single custom move. Then, once I was done I created 3 versions of EVERY character. Rock, Paper, Scissors. As you can imagine rock increases defense, paper does speed, and scissors was something to be feared. Combining 3 max powered stat boosters with 4 custom special moves to best fit the kit- I had created a masterpiece. It was so fun I would grind regular matches against cpu because the new gameplay was hilarious and fresh. If you can, give it a try you will not regret it
Smash Run is the best singleplayer experience in the history of the series. The amount of replayability it has is insane; customizing your character, boosting your stats, and mowing down enemies never gets old. Really hope it comes back in future installments!
Great video! Makes me kinda feeling nostalgic to the 3DS days... The only reason I still have my Smash 3DS copy is because of Smash Run, it's just really fun!!
Dream Team, Smash, Tomodachi Life, Photo Dojo, this console was my childhood! You just had to sort through the meh, and you could find a lot of gold and charm in this thing.
I'm a big fan of city trial in Kirby Air Ride and when they announced Smash Run, I was extremely hyped. In fact, Smash Run is one of my favorite modes. I played it so many times that I think I played more Smash Run alone than Smash for WII U.
1:58 I have been saying this for YEARS. Smash Run is such a god tier mode and the Classic Mode was actually playable. It bewilders me how go from one of the best Smash modes ever to SMASH TOUR and it then being a 3DS exclusive probably till the end of time. Not bringing this gem back was one of Ultimate's biggest mistakes.
The best part of playing Smash Run was buffing up Sonic's speed to the max and then pray to God you get the race mode at the end and leave your enemies in the dust. Waiting right next to the finish line for 2 minutes for everyone else to catch up and then mock them and cross it the moment they're in sight.
Oddly enough, due to me not being at home all too often, I sunk tons more hours into Smash for 3DS compared to the Wii U. Because of always being abroad, and always playing it, I spent SO much time sinking my teeth into all of the underrated things this game offered. Classic Mode, Smash Run, spending time unlocking all of the stat-enhancing badges, custom moves, trophies (Trophies>>>Spirits, don't @ me), hauling ass in Streetpass, seeing how many fast I could blur through all of Master Core's forms, it was all just... an experience I won't soon, or ever, forget. Thanks for giving this game the limelight it deserves, Alax.
