Stunning video! I wish i could get into chasing tuna. Ive done a lot of research and discovered that the best time to catch them is between feburary and april down at jervis bay. This place looks like mermaids inlet, although i might be wrong but isnt it permanently closed due to being a hazardous track? Great video overall. Would not recommend this type of fishing to beginners as i was harassed to leave Outer tubes earlier this year in feburary because the people thought i was in the way, but i just wanted kingfish

Be sure to leave 4 spare tyres and some windows in your boot if you plan on going to mermaids inlet or the tubes to fish! I know a couple of fellas who came back with some missing

Certainly one of the most challenging mentally and physically sport. You won't be sleeping well when you lose a good fish under your feet and that's another hundreds of casts and hours to put into it to try to hook another fish of the lifetime. Great footage there guys.

Loved it!! Places like The Tubes, Tathra rocks etc where anything can swim by, that's when having tough tackle pays for itself. You don't want to hook the land based fish of a lifetime, only to have gear that won't hold up for the fight.
