If there was a band that had deathcore breakdowns. Mixture of Metalcore, Djent, Thrash riffs and a vocalist with nice cleans and did normal fry and false chords plus other techniques that bands like infant annihilator do... Wow...

Let's be honest, if you are running low on ideas the 5,7,8 formula is a great one to fall back on. Like a classic rock style just fall back on the blues scale if you can't think of a good solo idea
