Have you tried the planet tone Sheminith humbuckers yet? I loved your demo of the H bomb and I’m curious to hear/know the difference between the h bomb, the sheminith, and the 1978 Pasadena sets.

I just got an SG that needs a pickup upgrade. Muddy neck with low clarity. I like the sound of these. Would they work good in an SG? I need a brighter clearer neck pickup tone. I really like how you make this set sound!
Yes I think you would be very happy with these in an SG. I have a 91' Standard with a Planet Tone 1959 Special bridge and a 1957 in the neck, also a good combo IMO.
@@LucasFowler I will be using the guitar mostly for edge of breakup to heavier blues and 70’s style rock with a little bit of cleaner tones now and then. That’s a lot of options, for sure. I must admit that I’m always terrified to mess with the wiring. Years ago I built maybe half a dozen kit guitars, and they basically always came out with horrible buzzy electronics.
