I think everybody is missing the point of my question the government offered Lepke Buchalter a deal so he won't have to go to the electric chair when he was betrayed. He was handed over to J Edgar Hoover by Albert Anastasia which is the same Mob Boss of that Family before it was called Gambino family. He told them NO he's not going to take that deal so they sent him to the electric chair in 1944 at Sing Sing prison............... @@936melly nah, Abe Reles snitched on everybody. J Edgar and the FBI was paid off by the rich Carnegies and Rockafellers to create laws to take the mafia down because they were getting to rich and powerful. Buckhaltee maybe could have snitched on Anastasia , his boss, to get out of the death penalty but he never talked so who knows.
