I mean there is a reason the Carrier being called a city at sea (The Bronx for east Coast, Compton for West Coast)... really, they could do Law & Order: AirLant and it would be a thing... but mostly it would cover the HT's constantly unpluming tampons in the aft pipes and the occasional investigating fan-room follies (cliff hangers being either the Chem-Lit bandit or the Phantom Shitter)...
Well, this took off, so I might as well put this. I work at the Naval Aviation Development Center in Fallon, and the team here, pilots and all, love your videos. We’ve got a few F-35 pilots that stop by and love the 22. Keep doing what you’re doing.
The only times war did determine who was right was during the American Civil War and World War II. Literally everyone knew who were the bad guys (Confederacy, Nazi Germany etc) in those wars.
I actually found it funny at 0:47 with the, "Talk shit behind my back all you want to but I will knock on your door and ask you what the fuck you want."

@LordElmo420 Alternatieve. B-52: Started with a B-17, ended up with the longest active serving aircraft *in the world*. I could be wrong though feel free to double-check that. Edit. I did check and it appears to be older aircrafts still in service. *However* these aircrafts are not the same as the Grandpa Buff. Like, the oldest fighter still technically in service is the MiG-17, developed in 1952. However we know it does not hold a candle to any other semi-modern aircrafts.
America accidentally turning everything into an aircraft is the equivalent of me trying not to play as a Stealth Archer every playthrough in Skyrim. It just happens and I have no idea how, but I like it!

There is no such thing as overkill. If you are not significantly stinger than your opponent in a war something somewhere has gone HORRIBLY, HORRIBLY WRONG
Overkill's problem is it requires a good training program because real world experience is so hard to get. The only real experience you usually get are against opponents who lack understanding, mental capacity and a sense of their own mortality. (teenagers?)
In the wise words of Curtis LeMay - "Use overwhelming military force. Use too much and deliberately use too much; you’ll save lives, not only your own, but the enemy’s too."
As a Sailor, I love the fact you gave the USN carriers the Chong voice. Also, to quote a certain sci-fi series... Maxim 37: There is no overkill; only "open fire" and "I need to reload."
It hasn't been the first time for Israel in quite a few decades now, bud. They've literally been low key either removing Palestinians from their own homes in favour of illegal settlements or outright killing them almost since the word go.
I didn’t even serve on one, and I can attest that (aside from a few high strung individuals) the Navy is pretty chill. Just ask the other branches what our fitness levels are 😂
"Look man, we just sit here and watch the planes come and go. Make sure they got their packages for delivery. It's chill." Seems ... pretty accurate to me, also former Navy.
An extra 5 minute long HLC video is definitely a special blessing for us all I love how USA just gave an entire history lesson to the Iran and Iraq there along with him showing off his beautiful air force... *BUT HEY Now where was Grandpa BUFF in that!!*
Love peeking behind the scenes at your creativity. Also, it's totally appropriate that the carrier is chill, it's a well-defended ocean-going RV that is constantly taking in the scenery, after all. It's the rabid little children inside the RV that you have to worry about!
Also we kinda want that thing to be chill, considering the sheer terrifying amount of hate and pain it can just suddenly unload on everything within its considerable range. So he's chill.. until he's not.
Strangely that makes a hell of a lot of sense. He would have to be chill AF cause he's higher than the flight ceiling of what he's carrying so that he dosent loose his goddamn mind!😂
"It's the rabid little children inside the RV that you have to worry about!" Hmm...... not quite. If Carriers could hold F-22's, then that statement would be totally true. How about hyper-active little children?
"War doesn't determine who's right, it determines who's left." There's a level of honesty in all of these I appreciate the hell out of. Even as I wonder how many people might be missing the nuance.
just please, more a-10. im a scotsman who has loved that aircraft all my life because it feels like the spirit animal of my country, and now the voice is perfect!
It takes skill to create the right reverberating emotion through time. US military says "12 Days of Christmas," and most people say "nice song, but too repetitive." The people that know however, have a shiver run through them. That shiver, that is the goal.
11 carries. 9 amphibious that anywhere else would be called a carrier, but they also bring a few thousand marines. So 20. The US really has 20 aircraft carriers. We have a amazing resource in terms of capital ships. But we need some cheaper escorts so we can actually get places. A multi-billion dollar destroyer that can do everything is just not practical as a workhorse vessel

As Retired US Navy Serviceman (Aug. 84 - Aug. 14 - Military Police) I approve of the usage of Tommy Chong as the voice of the USS Gerald R. Ford! One CO of a ship I was on had the entire collection of Tommy Chong's movies in the ships onboard video library! 😅
I was actually thinking Tommy Chong makes sense for the Ford because of all the development problems it's had with all the new systems. Launch and recovery systems, ordnance elevators, everything is just way too laid back and trippy to function the way the Department of the Boat People wants it to.

The Navy from the view of Marines are the world's most chill Uber driver. That no matter what they pick you up in, there is never enough room for you to be comfortable.
There's another concept that I want to develop into something pithy: "Only the survivors of war get charged with war crimes," and/or "When war gets serious, the rules of war pack up and leave." Sort of corollaries of "It's never a War Crime the first time," but with the context of, "When you're serious or desperate enough, War Crimes start to look like War Doctrines." Maybe that's the one.

I was a below decker on a carrier during OEF and New Dawn. The carrier voice was appropriate. There's more chill at sea, especially with an enemy to hunt. Keeps the Kahki's occupied.
As a proud Navy Vet, I whole heartedly approve of the character for the CVN's. I was floating along in CVN-65 when 9/11 happened so I also agree that it's the rabid critters inside the RV that are the dangerous part. The RV is just how we get where we need to go in comfort and style. :) Nothing says "hello" or FAFO better then pulling up in 4.7 Acres of sovereign US territory with more aircraft and weapons that 95% of the other countries.
I think you got the carriers voice half right. When they are on route sailing, totally chill, enjoying the moment, relaxed. When they get on station, preforming operations, should transition to an overworked small town mayor/drill instructor/overloaded parent. How many sailors, aircraft, and secondary surface vessels does a carrier need to coordinate with? So, yeah, super chill, enjoying the down time when possible, super stressed and busy when -it hits the fan.
UK“Unite States, did you just send a second carrier group in there?” U.S “yeah I did, oh wait do you think two is not enough? I have like nine more” 😂 murica baby!
If you every have to do voices for the SM missiles like the SM-2, SM-3, SM-6, or other surface to air missiles. You should make them act like the aliens from Toy Story, but instead of the claw it’s Aegis selecting them.
A carrier being a stoner makes total sense though because think of it like this they're stoners because they're insane from having to hear the insane shit each aircraft tells them when they just want to vibe on the water
Love it. “Do You think two isn’t enough? I have like 9 more.” One carrier battle group is you peaked our interest and we’re keeping a eye on you, two is if you keep it up things will get real serious real fast.
I wish the History Channel would give you a budget to make a history of modern military equipment series for them. Each episode would be about 45 minutes in this format. 😂😂😂
So then please explain how Ukraine took three months and lost 80,000 people we trained to NATO standards using NATO methods and NATO equipment attacking the Russian defensive line and not even making it past the security perimeter ahead of the first real defenses. Also, check the news. Kupyansk. Avdiivka.
As someone who served 12 years Navy and 7 of em were on sea duty I whole heartedly approve of Ford being Tommy Chong! (Side note I'd love to see you give CG's some love along with the DDG and CVN. They're the modern battleship, while the last few of em are still floating around, and as an air defender I'm sure you'd appreciate the "it flies, it dies" motto)
I seem to remember an AnimarchyHistory video interviewing HLC where they touched on the Aegis system. One of them admitted that the SPY-1 radar and Aegis combat system actually scares them, probably because you can switch it to automatic and blow all those target icons into no shape at all without any further human input.
@@kemarisite Not quite true, there is still human input required as far as track designation. Once the system has no hostile tracks, the system would stop. That was how I spent much of my CIC watches in the Gulf, interrogating unknowns and comms with AWC on possibles. Same thing with CIWS, yes there is an "Auto" function, but there are parameters to prevent auto engagement. Without the "human in the loop" stuff, the system would be engaging every swell and false return that SPY picked up.
Really? I haven't heard anything about it in our public media, I know that our government provided free transport to all Poles who wanted to return to Poland and didn`t want to stay in Israel (so it would have to be someone kidnapped earlier, certainly not now)... All those interested have already returned to Poland safely. Where did you hear such information?
Hamas would genuinely stop existing the next day if that happened. And that's without bombing civilians and crying boo hoo, your bombs and planes are useless unless you commit war crimes.
That’s because they are propaganda that feeds into what you want to hear. For example, you don’t want to hear about the fact that Ukrainians trained up to NATO standards and using native equipment with native methods lost 80,000 people over three months. And failed to break out of the Russian outer security pickets That weren’t even meant to be seriously defended. Lazo, don’t want to hear the fact that America has been at war for all but 18 of its gears existing as a country and ever since 1868 America has been constantly at war and American troops have been overseas unceasingly for over a century. The only thing he got right was the stuff about Palestinian terrorists, Andand Iran giving them money.

"America? Why did you send 2 carrier battelgroups towards Hamas?" "Because its build, its funded and the people on there are in desperate need of some action. But the short answer is, because i can!"

The good thing about a second carrier, if it's utilized properly, is the potential for humanitarian aid. Power gen, water filtration, housing. Alot of lives could be saved by those carriers.
