"this is the shit i love" !! i hear you brother! great driving with a great sounding and handling car. crazy how many people talk shit on this platform. yet half the horsepower and running a few seconds faster than a car with 500hp.
Cool. Only 10 hours and 676 miles from me. I will add it to the list! Thanks for the video! This is a great lower-speed track that matches the GR well.
You can use your rear view camera like the GT3 racecars. Hold rewind button and forward button at the same time then press tune button twice on the headunit. Go to cemara setting, camera setting. Whoaa now you got a useful headunit at the track day :)
@@phelpsgarage4202 goodluck also how long it took you to get your JDL headers? I ordered it 2 weeks ago and they said it's gonna take 4-6 weeks for it since it's made in order.
Love you keeping a positive mind set when this guy couldn't have cared less about you also having fun. Hopefully will get to see you out there some day.
That looks like a fantastic track, you definitely can't miss that opportunity! I'm so curious how it's going to track after the turbo and tune - it'll be exciting, that's for sure!
Nice video, your car was one of the loudest ones out there. Always knew where you were on track. Definitely some interesting cars out on track but my group was pretty friendly. Apart from getting gapped by the Tesla lol
Dang man, watching the videos between you and Joe really make me want to track my car. I’ve got a base c6 LS3 mansmission with some bolts on. I’ve never been around a track but I feel confident that I could jump right into an advanced track day instead of wasting time/money on the intro day. What’s your opinion on that?? Did any of those guys there seem to do the same(never track but went to advanced track day)? By the way I’ve been there for coffee and cars and I’ve watched pretty much every track day video here I could find - not a lot.
If you haven’t been on track I wouldn’t waste your time or others time by jumping into an advanced track day. it looks easy but I promise it’s not.. you’ll have a bunch of fun in beginner or intermediate. once you feel comfortable driving at the limit then yes go to advanced. Yes I feel people join the advanced group and should not be there.
Your fried SloJoe should follow you around the track, and maybe if you have a communication system, he can get better. Looks like you were trying to get through a sea of road/track cholesterol with most of the cars out there . One of the guys on another forum is working with an engineering firm to develop the oil sump system I've described to you and others which will cure the oil control problems in the FA24.
