Beautiful work....I made a gun belt by laminating 2 belt blanks then I sewed them by hand and used copper rivets on the buckle end. Turned out very well. I like your shop and mostly the craftsmanship you put into each piece you make. Not enough people care enough about the product they produce. Ray....Oklahoma
This harness leather from Hermann Oak is specialty tanned and hot stuffed with a lot of tallow to begin with. I think I may have put on a single coat of our Craft and Lore leather balm, and it was mostly to smooth out the appearance when it was pretty beat and scratched up from hard wear.
@@craftnlore can i use petroleum jelly (called vaselene in india, used to cure crack feet) on veg tanned leather to give it that dark antique look i also want this lovely chestnut brown color how do i get that any natural color for that ?? thank you
