Imagine if Char was one of the many stubborn Zeon pilots who stuck with the Zaku I and he just kept up upgrading this one like a madman up to the point where it looks like the secret love child of the Zaku IV and the Gelgoog Vertex.
@TheHiddenBoss I stand by my belief, that MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai, is the best Zaku ever developed and put to production during the One Year War. There's also that evolved variant of it called "MS-06R-2S Zaku Late Production Type Dozle Zabi Custom", but it never got fully developed let alone fielded (I don't see the point of torso beam cannons either, so screw that sh!t, but the lineage is there). So yeah, any further upgraded MS-06FZ Zaku II Kai for the win. 😀
Added trolling potential: take a MS-05 ( any model will do ) upgrade its internals to the point where it's a gundam wearing the shell of a Zaku-I. Now confuse the crap out of all your foes. Refuse to elaborate further.
@@vaporsouls6752 From what I remenber actually no, he is not 3 times faster, he is faster than most pilots, but the 3 times faster thing is a myth created by other soldiers that assumed he was 3 times faster while seeing him maneuver in battle (at least in the original timeline, in The Origin he is such a Mary Sue that I don't doubt that he goes literally 3 times faster for no reason). The guy who does go 3 times faster is Full Frontal, but that is probably because the Sinanju is Gundam level in terms of performance.
@@CoracaoAcidental98 During the Battle of Loum while piloting his MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type he deactivated his suits safety's on his accelerator. Doing this he was able to achieve incredible speeds and Lieutenant Gaia of the elite Black Tri Stars states upon observing Char maneuvering qoute; "He's moving three times normal speed, guys a variable Red Comet". In the OG series when he first appears in his Zaku his radar contact is described as "moving 3x nornal speed" once again. So no the 3x normal speed thing is NOT actually a myth Char's Zaku II can in fact move 3x normal speed and its implied that he did the same thing he did to his Zaku to every other suit he piloted.
Mobile suits are small, maneuverable, and can effective shoot in a 360 arc. Ships were big and slow, fighters couldn't manage momentum or have as wide a shooting arc at any given moment, compared to MS
0:17 You know, you have to give that one gunner of the barrel machin gun a good try that he still keeps on trying to shoot even when the ship is already blowing up
I agree, but I've got problems with my novie version Char kit in general. I had to glue the backpack on and the command fin, the troso won't stay together no matter what I do and the left arm keeps falling apart.
Thought that bit was funny too! I think the strangest part is the fact that the bridge is the most crucial part of a ship yet it’s sticking out in an un-armoured section, surely by the time you’ve got intergalactic ships, you’d have an armoured bridge that’s in the core of the ship and thus, heavily protected… they’ve got cameras and computer screens right?
@@ValiumCupcakes Somehow the Minovsky particle disrupts radars and unshielded electronics. But how it is supposed to make cameras unable to see what people are able to see, I cannot say.
@@ValiumCupcakes the only explanation is that it's because of the time it was designed. Back then ships were designed with bridges sticking out so the creator based off the ship designs on WWII ships
The only strange thing is that the Federation didn't spam saberf8sh fighters all over or that they didn't use dedicated carriers. In the original MSG novel the federation has giant space carriers for their fighters.
