@@ioverslept. most of the playerbase, of every FPS game play without using the brain, they hate to learn how to aim, control recoil, game mechanics, etc. That's why people only engage with one or 2 FPS, a lot of casuals plays by inertia, not thinking what they are doing in-game, that's why games like Titanfall2, The Finals, BF1 didn't get the recognition they deserved, Specially Titanfall2
@@anti-materielrifle More to it than that, developers need to make good decisions and good game design, first impressions matter a lot. But you're right to an extent
@@ioverslept. In terms of gameplay, art design, performance quality, content quality, sound desing and quality, BF1 anf Titanfall2 outplays, Apex, Fortnite, COD and every other BR multiplayer, so the is not at all the devs fault, it's players that conforms with low quality content (Apex players and COD players)
It's crazy and sad how NOTHING has replaced or surpassed H2/H3 for me and my friends. Infinite is only played on occasion due to actually finding ranked matches.
If you like unique FPS titles like Titanfall and Splitgate, you definitely need to try The Finals. There's so much depth, strategy and mechanics in this game.
The situation with Battlebit is kind of sad. As you've experienced, the gameplay is very fun 'cause it's very fast paced and chaotic. When it launched on Early Access on July 2023, it was a monumental success. Sadly, the devs didn't really know how to manage a project with such unexpected overwhelming response. Actually, I say "devs", but really, there's only one programmer. The other two, I believe, are 3D modelers, but I could be mistaken. So, the game remains the same for a bit, then they start releasing some updates with decisions that fractured the playerbase more each and every time, with the final one being a complete sound overhaul that resulted in disorientation and overall confusion as to audio positioning. This last update was in December 2023, mind you. From there, the fanbase knows that these 3 devs got millions from their game, so the common stance is that of "you guys have money, just hire actual professionals", but the team refuses to do so. The argument to that and to why the game hasn't received any updates for more than half a year is that the only programmer has been working on a very big update, which is so big that onboarding new people to the project would be more detrimental than to just push through it alone. This update was supposed to release this past April. With this, the playerbase has taken a toxic stance against that member of the team, arguing that he's just not prepared to manage a project. Some even think that they just took the money and ran. Adding the fact that the game is 20 USD, many people just felt that they got their money's worth and have moved on. I'd say this was probably the worst time to get into the game, as the playerbase, while still boasting a healthy number, has significantly decreased since launch, and the ones that remain are not as positive as they were last year. The VoIP moments were way more abundant back in the day, and the general skill level has increased quite a bit, making it hard for new players to get into it.
@@strictnine5684 umm did you mean to reply to someone else? I fail to see how this is "literally word by word". I have a completely different stance on the game than him.
Same! I'm excited for the big update! Visuals and sounds are a big upgrade! The weather variants are gonna add so much replay value! That's the only reason The Finals could launch with 4 maps. The variants keep it fresh
probably wouldn't run well on his pc. from what i recall he's using an older gpu, and for my setup, (3060ti 32gb ram ryzen 9 5900x) it still runs a little choppy compared to something like xdefiant or mw3
@@jaydenharrison1436 when I went to go play a couple weeks on rank, they made a fast paced game have and only have a SnD type mode now for ranked... I might as well play siege but this game needed more unique things about it and catering to 1 side over another never works. Goes for all new fps games, standard is high AF and to stay Relevant
I love MCC but it can be a bit of a crapshoot sometimes, in terms of quality. Playing solo, a lot of matches just turn into stacks stomping randoms and being toxic in chat. Going in with a mindset focused on fun rather than winning has helped me a lot, but it can be rough AF sometimes lol
Arcade shooters are not that great these days but the milsim/hardcore shooter scene has revitalized my love for multiplayer fps. Hell Let Loose and Squad are two big ones for me. Lots of fun proxy chat, and great team work moments. Way better than AAA shlock
Still grinding MCC. I’ve been finding more games in H2 later than I ever have. It’s kinda nice unless I get in a lobby with guys that know all the button combos haha
Ive been playing a ton of titanfall on ps5 recently and the number are alright! Generally can get into attrition matches in about 40 seconds. Have even been able to get into frontier defense and ctf games for the first time, though those take around 5ish minutes of waiting in queue to find a match.
Holy shit you dropped every fucking shooter I’ve been running recently in one video. Came here from the splitgate 2 vid from lost saves. I adore titanfall 2, on the Xbox network I became one of the top 100 players within months of starting last year and now I’d say I’m in the top 15 players regularly active on it. Splitgate is also fucking stellar and not even close to dead like a lot of RU-vidrs say. MCC is sorta dead? But still active enough to find lobbies within a minute.
Funnily enough I returned to Halo Infinite for the first time in months this last week and had a lot of fun, but the networking in that game is abysmal. Titanfall 2 on PlayStation I usually find attrition matches very fast. Been really craving a good new FPS but nothing coming out is peaking my interest
Been playing xdefiant for last two months, so much fun! Me and my friends are having a blast! After playing halo infinite for 2.5 years and 10.7k games played, Xdefiant is a breath of fresh air.
Great video as always. It's hard to recommend in a huge way at the moment, but Rainbow Six Siege has been my number one game for the past 5 or so years. It has some of the most satisfying gunplay and can result in the most amazing teamwork if you can manage to get in with a few friends. I would recommend going into the game with a friend that already knows the game well to act as a sort of in-game guide. If solo is your only option I would say to stay away for the time being 🤣. Not an FPS, but Rocket League is an amazing multiplayer game that can be super chill if you don't take it too seriously. While it has a super high ceiling, just playing around with a few friends is a blast. Thanks again for the video!
One game I’ve been really grinding again is not even old; it is considered old by its community. MWII I really enjoyed that game, despite its flaws and despite what everyone else said about it. Now everyone is playing MWIII. I play it occasionally, but I find myself going back to last year’s game. I really liked its Invasion mode. I even made a new account just to level up in the game again. The whole experience feels casual too since most of the diehard fans stay up to date with the newest game. I’m just kinda waiting too until another good FPS comes out, whether it’s CoD or not. I’m open.
Let me tell you all that The Finals is one of the best free to play shooters out there that’s severely underrated. Lots of play styles, strategies, plenty of content, weapons, abilities, modes to choose from. It does take a bit to really dive in but trust me it’s a good team shooter. It’s not perfect by any means and definitely filled with sweaters, but it’s a nice game to fill your hours with and deep dive in.
Battlebit brought me so much fun. I put 200 hours in that game and I'm waiting for the big update. But I honestly think The Finals is THE BEST fps game out right now
I pop in and out of battlebit and titanfall quite a bit, you should try hell let loose and squad 44 too, more realistic and slow paced but superb games.
Those first 2 fps are my favourite picks right now. If your anything like me you'll have the time of your life Rogue company friends vs friends Outer wilds It takes 2 a short hike Deaths Door Firewatch Phychonauts 2 ratchet and clank rift apart Sunstet overdrive bit old but really dam fun roboquest life is strange batman arkham games circuit superstars sifu splinter cell blacklist spy vs mercs multiplayer
A game I can recommend is Quake Champions. It's a super fun game, and the only one besides quake live that is a true arena shooter. You should give it a try.
Just about every COD made for Xbox One except MW3. I’ve really been vibing with Infinite Warfare lately, even though it’s festering with cheaters. I might try Ghosts next.
If you want multiplayer (not strictly PvP) there is deep rock galactic which is amazing. Imo phantom forces also holds up with its immense weapon choices and customization but it’s Roblox so not a big budget one
3:25 most are veteran but that doesn't mean they are good, most people dont get more than 20 kills, is only 1 or 2 per team that get a lot of kills, myself is agood example, but is very few of us
Love mcc but I swear it feels like people only play 3 and reach I waited an hour and a half in h2a and got 1 game And halo 4 takes a little while too but not as long
Looks like a (fast) projectile weapon. Hitscan weapons deal damage if your reticule aligns with the target the instant you press the button (Halo 2 Battle Rifle, most FPS Rifles), but projectile weapons fire shots that physically travel to where your reticule is pointed so opponents can walk into them (Halo 3 Battle Rifle, any sci-fi FPS gun that you see fire a glowing orb). Based on the bullet animation, that seems to be what happened and the enemy on the right walked into the projectile’s path.
splitgate 2 sounds awful, why oh why have they sold out and just gone for the same old generic formula? we need a proper battlefield game, delta force is looking good though
