No. Goldsmith had better scores: Planet of the Apes, Tora Tora tora, Patton, QBVII, The Omen, Star Trek, Alien, Supergirl, Total Recall, for example.

Agreed... The Mummy is my favorite movie and it really was disappointing that Rachel didn't participate. But the mummy The Mummy Returns and Scorpion King always my favorite trilogy!

As with most years John Williams had composed The Phantom Menace that year and Harry Potter, Goldsmith again was overshadowed by John Williams also the Oscar had a few years earlier asked Jerry to write the fanfare for the Oscars but refused to pay him for a 3 minute fanfare so Goldsmith wrote a 1 minute fanfare to spite them after that Jerry was never popular with them again

There's just magic in the joy a performer or a conductor feels when they truly get immersed in the performance. I get excited WITH him as that last chorus hits.

Great performance. Not all soundtracks make you feel full of emotions. Jerry Goldsmith notoriously has his own style.

This theme is so grand! And one of Goldsmiths best themes.But there is one other I would love you guys on Fimucite to play.And that is Goldsmiths music for Soarin` over California.I think that is Goldsmiths finest theme/music he as ever made.
