An iconic day out this one - the staggering Ben Cruachan and it's satellite peaks and ridges. This mountain stands out like a big jaggedy thing when viewed from the other high peaks in the area. It's a belter!

Hi Sue 🙋‍♂I totally agree..a belter of a route. We did it in 2008. Mist was rising and falling around the ridge and gave the impression of walking on clouds. One of those days to be relived in the memory. 😍🙋‍♂🐶

It must surely be one of the iconic Munros Ian 😁 Or maybe Moruisg with snow shoes… 😉

What a beautiful clear day, giving great views in every direction. You don’t get many days that clear. Well done 👍

Thanks Mick! Despite the storms, there has actually been some great weather up North. Lochcarron over Hogmanay was superb 👌😊

Ah - a route I've done. Although I went the other way round - and in about 1990! I remember the path was very faint and sporadic, and that I pulled a knee ligament on the way down and had to shuffle backwards for a while! Great video, brings back memories.

That's quite the rune on the rock! I've seen it before here as well. It must be some type of ancient message. I wonder what it means😁 Great hiking today😃

It really wasn’t us 😂 The most ancient of symbols and universally understood. Must be the snow bringing out the mischief in folk.. happy winter hiking Age

What a stunning ridge Sue and how lucky you were with the weather! The rune was rather impressive and in a way quite intimidating! Hope you got plenty of zzz's in the car!

It’s a great night’s sleep in the car Matt 😁 Maybe the rune was wishful thinking on behalf of the artist? The scale never really occurred to me 😂🤣

I like the gate gag Sue. I thought it was a sound effect at first then got it. Ha ha! This was a wow video for sure - you got the conditions for just that. I've yet to experience Scotland in a similar way but aim to change that. Great fun - a smile inducer all the way. Mark

Thank you Mark, can’t resist the creaking joints gag 😂 No better feedback than to induce a smile 😊 Oooh, I’d love to see you enjoying a Scottish trip… loads of bothies to choose from too! Smiling back at ya, Sue

@@FIVE-FOOTLyth A pleasure Sue. Yeah, it's a good gag - fooled me but got a smile. Yeah, Scotlands on at some point. I have been there it's on my channel - just not for a while. Cheers for the smile.

Hi Owen 😊 we were out for 5 hours, which included stops, photography, etc. It’s one of Scotland’s classics, but superb in winter with a bit more snow
