I didn't know Statler and Waldorf fought for the Kaiser during WWI. Then again they're old enough to remember dating Queen Victoria, have rode on the Titanic, and had the opportunity to have an intellectual conversation with William Shakespeare (Any other heckles these two geezers pulled on each other I'm missing, just let me know. I'll try to get my hearing aid fixed by then. Hahaha!)

It's amazing that they could write this stuff, we grew with it and came out fine. Because I don't think you can do this in TV geared for kids these days. A parent would have a heart attack watching Waldorf and Stadler shooting up the theater or insulting the "actors".
