I am so glad her mom pushed for a life sentence for her daughter. You never stop loving your child but the punishment has to fit the crime.

This boils down to Jordan & her boyfriend killing Jordan's grandmother & Chet Clemmons for a few days with a nice blue truck & a few unlimited shopping sprees to WALMART?!! Depravity knows no bounds. And the fact that Linda McAllister helped raise her granddaughter & had a close relationship with her...makes this crime even more unforgivable. Jordan's mother was brave & did the right thing in requesting the judge throw the book at her.

Finally a parent wanting their child to take full responsibility for their crimes!

I would like to personally thank you for this. You told my Momma and Chet’s murder as dignified and factual as you could.

I don't think Kenny manipulated Jordan. She was dark before she met him. I can't imagine being murdered by my own child or grandchild. There's no way any granddaughter could be manipulated to murder her grandmother or anyone else, imo. They both got life without parole and I think that's exactly what they deserve

As a South Carolinian, my father relentlessly pounded in my and my sister's head the "hand of one is the hand of all" law. He always told us to watch the company that we kept and be wise with making friendships and being in relationships as it could be someone else that could drag you to hell with them.

Losing a parent is super tough but to lose your mom at the hands of your child who you also love dearly is on a whole different level. My sincere condolences to their families.

Jordan only felt pushed when she was pushing that heavy shopping cart full of over $700 of food. How heartless and callous. I'm always thrilled when arrogant, malicious, evil folks reject their plea deal. Life sentences. Amen to that. What a brave mother. God bless the family and those who loved Linda & Chet. Im impressed with the mother. Demanding justice for her mother and not trying to bail her daughter out like so many parent's do. Such a painful position to be in Im sure. Yet she knew right is right and wrong is wrong and her daughter had to suffer the consequences.

Why are people so willing to spend their lives in prison? It’s awful. These two couldn’t have believed they would get away with this.

I cannot begin to imagine what that evil girl’s mother has had to go through, bless that lady.

Respect to the mother in this case. I remember the news clips about this story because of the mother requesting no bond for her daughter. I can’t even begin to imagine that woman’s pain. Losing her own mom and finding out it was your daughter who was responsible has to be a nightmare she can’t wake from. Kudos to her brother for showing great compassion to his sister whom he realized she was in great pain. I pray they remain close as that woman truly needs him. It’s not always easy to do the right thing but it is the right thing to do. This phrase is an understatement in this case. May the grandmother and her husband rip. Peace to the mother and brother and prayers for the granddaughter that she will do some serious soul searching while in prison & do whatever she possibly can to make amends (if that’s even possible). That Jordan is evil. Her grandmother showed her nothing but love and this is what she got in return. The way Jordan brought her criminal boyfriend into the mix so they could murder Linda and her new partner and steal everything Linda worked so hard for in preparation for her golden years is just heartbreaking. Hope Linda's and Chet's loved ones find peace with this someday.

I moved to SC during my adolescence to be raised by grandmother after my parents split. Since her passing, I think about her each and every day. I aspire to be as thoughtful, caring, and generous to my family as she was to me. I would do anything for more time with her and don't understand how ANYONE could or would do anything like this. I hope Jordan is forced to sit and reflect on what she threw away when she participated in this heinous crime. Smh, this is just so sad.

These stories amaze me. I’m at a point that I look at my own 15 year old granddaughter differently. Children these days realize all about “ The Money” it’s absolutely sickening! I would never! Have kids these days nor would I ever adopt. Seen to many kids that have been adopted that kill the parents. No thank you! Sorry not sorry. Kids are not! The be all!”

She knew right from wrong. Let’s not make it the man’s fault this time. She was a total willing participant and it was evident.

Linda's daughter amd son are such lovely examples of wha a great woman she was. They are amazing and have such grace and love for their mother and each other. Jordan, on the other hand, seems to have somehow missed all the good in that family. What a loss for them all. I'm so glad they were justly punished.

Good for Jordan's mom for recognizing the reality of the situation. No doubt that was a painfully difficult decision, but she handled it appropriately. How incredibly sad and tragic that Linda and Chet were killed in such a heartless manner. They were so excited about life and it was stolen from them. The ultimate betrayal. 💔💔

I have been along since some of Kevin's first uTube airings. JTL is truly the BEST. The keep it simple concept of your productions are a solemn reminder that these cases are peoples lives. No intro outro Rap, midstream blasts of bells n whistles. The way you deliver these case stories is honestly the BEST.

They spent all that money and not 1 of them thought about getting the truck. Professionally cleaned, you see how stupid they are. She chose him over her family. Why couldn't he take care of her? Why do you have to kill your grandparents? In order to live the high life, what you want to live. If you chose him he should take care of you. The way you want to be taken care of not killing someone to get it.😒

As someone who was co- raised my her parents and grandparents, this absolutely breaks my heart. I'm glad that they didn't get away with just a slap on the wrist. I'm so proud of Jordan's mom for pushing like she did.

My heart breaks for Jordan’s mom. That had to be extremely hard knowing that her own daughter did such a horrific thing. But I also applaud her for standing up for her mother and asking for the maximum punishment allowed.

Killing her grandparents at her age was not an overnight thought. She must have been thinking it for a while, envious, greed not willing to work for what is ours. You want a certain lifestyle but refuse to earn it honestly.

Why do DAs and judges let these monsters loose on the public? If Kenny hadn’t been let out on bond with an ankle monitor maybe those people would still be alive. An ankle monitor that didn’t seem to make any difference at all. He seemed to have the ability to come and go as he pleased. Those charges seemed awfully serious!! Absolutely disgusting that judges and DAs are not held responsible for the chaos resulting from their reckless decisions.

I'm so sad. I have a brain injury and can't listen to programs with background music because it is too distracting. I loved and could listen to your program because you spoke clearly, took pauses, and had no background noise. Cant imagine how devastating it must be to have loved ones taken away by greed but it always feels more evil and heartbreaking when it’s by the ones they loved the most.

I had an lol moment looking at the judge’s expression when the defense was saying she’s not guilty. Judges have to listen to so much crap with a straight face.

Looking at the granddaughter in the interrogation room the term slatternly comes to mind.

How could she that to women who loved her no matter what, & supported her no matter what? And yes she's just as guilty, she help load the bodies ... he's to lazy & weak to do alone. Plus she helped with clean up! Plus it was her loved ones she allowed it to happen too! Didn't try to stop it! I mean who brought up the convo to kill them? What over there frozen pizza meal? They are selfish evil beings!

My mom worked with Jordan’s mother for 13 years and I went to several of Jordan’s birthday party’s and hung out with her when I was younger. Never did I think this would be something she would do. However I haven’t seen her in several years before this happened. just shows you that anyone is capable of anything.
