The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog Review 

A Sonic game that finally makes use of the franchise’s unwieldy cast by turning it into a book sounds like it should be a joke, and yet this seems pretty cute. Seems almost obvious in retrospect. Great review!

This game is basically a playable IDW Sonic mini-arc, in the best way possible. I hope they make more of these, big budget, plot driven mainline Sonic games rarely give you the chance to just chill with these characters.

Honestly almost wish they charged for this just so they would do more. They got everything down, characters, worldbuilding and just fun atmosphere. Sonic Frontiers nailed 'cool' and I feel like this nailed 'character' despite there being no real development. Everyone is just written so well

Sonic is improving so much. With IDW Comics in the background for a few years and is FIRE 🔥🔥🔥, to Movies that aren't in the game canon but still gives Sonic a good name, to Sonic Frontiers easily one of the best Sonic games ever, to Sonic Prime with a lovely story plot line that's so capable in itself with God tier animation no less, to now THIS. 😊 All of this is making me want to go to the future to enjoy the Sonic franchise that will be there, because I REEEEALLY DON'T FEEL LIKE WAITING. But I must ❤ Keep on moving Sonic 👏

*my comment is more of a sidenote* 1- I was just looking for kart rider drift stuff just now because I wasn't sure if it looked fun and I enjoyed your review. 2-wow you do a much better job at reviewing things than a lot of people do. 3- this was my first time hearing about this game and I must play it now

I knew to expect the unexpected today, but this takes the cake! I've never played a Sonic game before, but this looks like a great low-pressure entry point to me. Thanks for the review, Mike!

I know it was just Murder on the Eggman Express but it was super-fun seeing Tails take a front seat for most of the game as Hercule Poirot. I'm not saying we should see a million games like this, and I get that Sonic's the Face of Sega, but it's a lesson that Sega should take to heart - that they've got a huge cast to use and people want to see them.

Great review! Before playing it I actually thought this takes place in an alternate Sonic universe but actually (general goofyness aside) this could pretty well be canon!

It... wasn't a joke? It was entirely legit? I swear the people who made this game have to be at least half as insane as I am, and I've been trapped in my room for almost over 7 years.

Just finished it, enjoyed it quit a bit. I'm just amused that the best Sonic game in a while is a visual novel style game...

Eventhough I free it's hard sell for me. 1st Windows 10 is partly why MAC. 2nd it doesn't look like it works with M1 and M2 chips and 3rd is steam I don't what in to install an computer virus on my MAC. Yes steam is an computer virus and their is nothing anyone can say or do that will stop me calling it an computer virus.
