The Murder of The Johnsons: A Case of Parricide 

I think what really threw me for a loop was how incredibly short the relationship was as well. Her parents were murdered over a relationship that was only 3 months old.

I was watching some other case on another channel and the suspect said he knows what to say and not say because he watches “the first 48….” while talking to the cops without a lawyer. So I’m gonna go out on a limb, and say These two murderous morons were watching the same show.

​@@unde.rtheashtreewow... That i didn't know. It only makes the whole thing more disgusting. I never get these people that decide to kill their whole family over something so trivial. Not that there's any good reason obviously but it's common sense that most relationships at that age don't last very long and had she been allowed to date him, i doubt it would have moved on to anything serious anyway. It's just crazy... You're going to kill the people that care about you the most in the whole world, raised you from birth, gave you everything you ever needed over a guy (and not a great one from the sounds of it) that you've only known for 3 months. Their brains are wired totally backwards...

Yes he did, I thought about a lot after I saw this story the first time years ago on Snapped. He spoke in court, it was really sad and his own sister took them away.

He told the judge give her the max and don’t let her out she’d do it again and he never wants to hear about or see her again.

I have a feeling she definitely came from a somewhat privileged upbringing, but that her parents were not killed solely over telling her no. That’s honestly such a simple minded viewpoint that so many people take on parricide cases. It’s never just money or a bf/gf, it’s usually after years of emotional and mental trauma caused by selfish narcissistic parents that turns someone into a selfish narcissist themselves. Almost all of these cases involve parents that failed to impart any empathy into their child because THEY THEMSELVES are often severely lacking in that area. They’re usually more concerned with how their child achieves and appears to family and neighbors, than actually loving and supporting their child. They don’t care to correct children as they’re growing in a constructive way, or to set an example of empathetic behavior or gratitude. They so often just want them to adhere to whatever path they have set out for the kid and to not embarrass them. People don’t decide to murder their parents over just one thing, whether that be a man/woman or money.

I don't get it either. But she was 16 they might try to get her sentence reduced. I believe she killed them straight up

Innocence Project, Human Rights, Parole boarders… they’re all thinking about the perpetrator, not future victims! Unfortunately, prison does not rehabilitate, but freedom to a rapist/murder only puts us at their mercy. #noparoles #sexoffendersreoffend
