A video that does an amazing job of showing off what is, in my opinion, one of the most overlooked aspects of modern games. I think many players underestimate how much a good soundtrack contributes to a game, how it can create a sense of progression and change in tone (Gascoigne and Ludwig) or slowly build intrigue and horror (Main theme song). I liked, commented, favorited, subscribed, opened the door, got on the floor, and walked the dinosaur. Well done Freke, well fucking done.

I loved Gascoigne's part, the jump cuts complemented the music perfectly and really gave a sense of how hectic and fast paced the games is THE SHIFT BETWEEN CLERIC AND LAURENCE WAS SO PERFECT IT GAVE ME GOOSEBUMPS I'll be redundant but every transition is spot on. And the Chalice boss theme works surprisingly well on Amelia. Dat Ebrietas yo! I love that songs and you made it even more amazing HOOOWWWW The slow transition between Mergo's wet nurse and Gherman is just... oh my God... I got honest chill all through the videos. Well-fucking-done. The fastest 19 minutes of my life. I think I'm gonna be back and rewatch pretty often. (or just... re-listen. Because it's an amazing remix)

I've really sorry about the video quality in the Gehrman and Moon Presence fights. The file I uploaded looks nothing like that; RU-vid's compression really ruins the appearance of that area of the game.

How on Earth have I not discovered this video until now? The music cuts, the editing, it's PERFECTION. I almost clicked out when there was no commentary, but now I have the volume cranked up all the way and I can't stop listening.

Not only is this an immense undertaking and dedicated love letter to this game, but it shows just how unified in theme and tone this game's soundtrack really is. No piece felt out of place, like a perfect jigsaw. thank you for assembling it

My god, that was amazing. This might be legit my favorite bloodborne video on youtube. Father Gascoigne is my favorite boss in the main game, but as for theme. I'd say cleric beast. And in the DLC it's obviously Ludwigs second phase music. It's the hypest thing around.

I´ve hold myself back for a day to write this comment, because I just had to play the video more than 10 times to make up my mind on what part i liked the most. Everything goes in hand so dam flaweless Freke, the music, the scenes etc. The music in games are really a big factor and most people dont apprechiate it. For example the Halo franchise, which produce the music with a whole orchestra, just give me goosebumps everytime I hear it. You did an amazing job with this video where you highlight the atmospheric Soundtrack who goes along fluidly with the Bossfights they were created for. Nevertheless I am going with Ebrietas, she´s a total *"$% but whatever the music really got me! Keep the typos, greets from Germany

I cried my eyes out when I heard bloody Lady Maria's theme song again...though the theme in Martyr Logarius still makes my heart thump while Ludwig's theme is a blast to my ears. Cleric Beast theme song was my first favorite. But Mergo wet nurse is the creepiest in my opinion. And at last, Gehrman's...ohh how lonely...all memories of how I died and failed miserably flashes back to my mind. Great video overall.

I think most of the comments speak for themselves. It really is something to be proud of. I love how the Hunter becomes the connective tissue from one fight to another and the layering of sound during Mergo was brilliant. The sound to image editing is damn near perfect at points and the seamless layering of one piece of music into another is peerless. Incredible. Although you should probably make the font a little bigger at the end. I don't think your name was very readable...haha.

God, fighting Maria was exhilarating. One of the best skill based boss fights I've ever faced. Really kept me on my toes

Ludwig's second phase was amazing. As was Papa SuperSwagSadDad. BSB's theme kept me on the edge of my seat and was so fitting for how he was revealed. Menacing little fuck.

Such a curious little detail how Ludwig's ranged attack in the 2nd phase syncs perfectly with the music. When I noticed it, I was like "Wtf fromsoft? What do you want? You already got my money, what do you want from me? Is it my soul? Or my body? Alright, take it. Just take it already!!!!" And here I am, trying to hold out until Dark Souls 3 and not playing anything that is Souls to keep it a bit more fresh when I get back into it. And then you upload this and I wonder "Wtf Freke? What do you want? You want me to play Bloodborne right now? Is that what you want? Is it? Because I swear to god I will lift my lazy ass from the couch and put this godamn game back into my PS4 and play it right now and all night!!!" As for the OST, I honestly can't decide which one would be my favorite. It was One Reborn for a long time, but Darkbeast replaced it eventually. And then they come along with Laurence so...wtf man, it's all too fucking good. I love all of it. Even Hemwick Witch is a nice piece. I don't dislike a single track from all of bloodborne, but my least enjoyable one would be Maria's. It just kinda loses its structure in the second half and tries to be more and more epic but instead it falls flat completely in my opinion. Which is a shame, the first bit is really thrilling and different. Suits the setting perfectly. Alas, what can you do, right? The video was fantastic, man. A lot of work, I can imagine. And I do hope you're personally satisfied with the end result. Amazing video for a truly outstanding soundtrack.

In some of the fights I never really noticed the music, it was like a movie I'm so focused on the boss and the story I forget the background music, yet it gives such a greater feeling

After watching this beautiful video multiple times, you actually hear the music, as usually you're in the tension of the fight its self. I mean of course you have the memorable ones like Ludwig, but the Ebriatas song, and how calming and mellow it is compared to the rest of the sound track, or those amazing trumpet type soudning instruments at the start of the Logarious fight. Hell even some of the less memorising fights like The withces, Celestial Emissary, and Living Faliures had amzing tracks. gg from and a massive thumbs up to you Freke
