DS3: Dancer of the Boreal Valley Theme (Extended) 

There's an eerie beauty to the Dancer, I think. She treats the encounter with you like a waltz, and fights with the grace and skill her name implies.

This one was a pain to loop properly. Just like in Bloodborne, DS3 boss themes have a different intensity depending on the boss' HP. For this theme there is quite a rapid transition between the two intensities, so I had to cut that out to conceal the loop transitions. That lead to further complications with syncing everything up. -_- (Also, I have no further plans to make any more extended themes for Souls music. The focus of this channel will be on creating my own content, not altering the work of others.)

I've yet to get into the Dark Souls franchise, but I came across this song thanks to an analysis on the Dancer of Boreal Valley boss on The Game Theorists channel. Then I heard this bone-chilling song...and was enraptured. I have a strange love for creepy songs like this...this fits my tastes perfectly. Yours truly, a metalhead.

They've done it. A boss that can't be beaten by staying behind it. Because if you try to do that, you will see it.... the secret weapon which is an irresistable guaranteed 1shot. On a more serious note, I am amazed by how well this music goes with the atmosphere and pacing of the fight as well as her way of moving and attacking. And I'm also glad they bring back the BB formular for bosses with different stages and different intensity for both gameplay and music!

The Bow Blade in Bloodborne's Old Hunter's DLC makes me think of The Dancer and of Ciaran in it's blade form. Simon'a Bowblade.

What a gorgeous piece of music. I was fortunate enough to face her a couple of times during the stress test and what a pleasure it was. So excited for the full game!

Definitely my favourite boss in the game. When i first fought her i felt intoxicated. There is something about the way she moves... she is so majestic and beautiful. I died like 20 times and i didn't rage at all. I usually rage very easily at video games but everytime she killed me i just wanted more and more. When i eventually defeated her i felt genuinely sad. I wanted her to dominate me some more. I wanted her to do that grab attack on me some more... I just wanted more of her. When i finally finish this game she is going to be my only reason to play again. Im gonna fight her with an unupgraded longsword and im gonna die to her many... many times. She is the only reason i think ds3 is better than ds1... Damn i need help.

Its amazing how they've adopted an opera-orchestra based approach to the bosses in Bloodborne and now Dark Soul 3, and made it so dynamic as the battle gets intense. I hope most stages in DS3 get their own music - something like the Hypogean Gael or Upper Cathedral Ward in Bloodborne. Anyways, nice video bro, with love from UK.

A beautiful piece of music and the effort to put it together is appreciated. A once challenging Boss I have learnt to master. Together with the Two Princes definitely the two Boss fights where timing is everything.

Listening to this at 2 A.M. in a pitch black room, with one small night light that gives off miniscule light, after watching a series of horror movies is the #1 most terrified I've ever felt. My fight or flight is on an unmeasurable scale.

The game theory on the rhythm of dark souls 3 got me here. Glad for it, this song is amazing.

This song reminds me of Sif's theme. The music goes in and out with a somewhat eerie choir that's intensity fluctuates. Both bosses even have tragic backstories.

Such a fuckin epic music for a fuckin epic boss. After beating Aldrich, suddenly you are teleported to the lothric cathedral and then appears that fuckin armored smooth monstrosity and then the music starts. The adrenaline booost like a fuckin tiger and youre gonna die couple time before killing that boss.

loved the way the music picked up once she grabbed her darkness sword. Really hoping they let you get her armor/weapons!

The movement of this boss is cool and unique, but slightly unsettling this song fits how eerie and downright creepy this boss is. I was looking at her blades ones made of fire leaving marks like a tracer... a gold tracer the other smoke like silver, those blades hold an striking resemblance to Lords blade Cirans tracers...

it feels like a full waltz when played at 1.25 or 1.5 speed :3 I know it's supposed to be more fluid and liquid but it feels like BOOM

for some reason, the transition from part one of the song to part two (about 1:27) is different here than on the my soundtrack, or any of the other uploads to be honest. I prefer this version.

if the extended versions are that much of a pain to make then just upload em normally, unless you don't wanna upload souls music anymore. I mean, I'm looking forward to the other masterpieces in this game.

Judging from the music and my general sense of the souls series, I have a feeling, and this is just a guess, but I believe that the Frigid Valley may be a place like the Abyss, if not part of the Abyss itself. It began spreading its corruption and mutating people (Like Oolacile) and the Lord of Light at the time sent in a brave warrior to take care of it, however this warrior failed like Artorias, however, not only was she corrupted but she was also turned into this thing called the Dancer of the Frigid Valley. I know this is probably stupid and has already been confirmed wrong but still I'd like to believe this is a boss with a tragic backstory. I guess its a lady anyway, I mean... that ass, no man can have that.

Great theme and it was a really exciting battle! Bloodborne has way better OST than any Souls game so far, while DS3 seems to be composed by Sakuraba again, I'm expecting he's doing better job than ever before.
