I am amazed at how well they work. I have my atu100 modded for QRP and ot works absolutely great. I can tune 160-6m at 1.2 swr with a 33' random wire. I use my trusdx and qdx with it all the time. Going to build a 100watt next for my 100watt amp I'm building.

Also I'll add a correction you can manually tune up the inductance and capacitance in test mode. :)

I ordered a mAT-30 tuner with a Yaesu cable gor $143.97 including shipping from China on Lazada Philippines. I think I'll stick to that one. I can't see well enough to assemble kits let alone replace Shottky diodes.

I forgot to mention Lazada has these N7DDC tuners which they call ATU-100 Pro+, preassembled in cases for as low as $67.79 but I didn't want to take a chance on an unknown (to me) tuner, plus the mAT-30 is almost the same size as my FT-891 so the radio can rest nicely on top and be supported.
