Absolutely love this series, cheers Mooney! Sears was a store btw, and they had a catalogue you could order literally anything from clothes to refrigerators over the phone and either pay for it to be delivered or pick it up…all the way up until Sears went bankrupt about 15 years back. Almost like Amazon before Amazon /s Just a little info for ya! :)

Ah ok. I didn't realise it was so recent. I think it's referenced in a lot of 90's shows like Friends or something. 2007/8 crash claim them too? Kinda sounds like a shop that we have here called "Argos". Everything's done through the catalogue rather than shelves in the shop itself. Weird setup that's existed for decades that no one else has replicated over here weirdly haha.

American here to explain the sears catalogue, it was basically a wholesale store for like a hundred years that went bankrupt a few years back, similar to today’s Walmart, Asda, or tesco. The “catalogue” was basically a menu of everything in the store, typically cheaper stuff that your average Joe would buy on a middle class salary

Regarding the weird graphical issues, set the the framerate cap to 30 fps and check if you have g-sync enabled btw, the game runs into these sorts of glitches other ways, mostly due to the detailed face capture technology they were using and whatnot.

I looked into the pop-in issue. Apparently all versions suffer from it due to some hardcoded values so it persists across multiple versions (I know Switch can be pretty bad with it), there's a tool called LANVP that can help increase the framerate and aspect ratio but there's not much you can do about the pop in sadly.
