When I learned english I started reading and writing but when I moved to US I could barely speak it, And I also had trouble understanding peaple pronunciation because I could read it but I was probably doing it wrong in my head. Is it possible to learn a decent level of russian without having to move to the country?

Absolutely! With the modern technology it's not a question of where you are physically located. It's a question of how much time you can devote to the language. Moreover you can live in Russia and still not be able to start speaking. I had succesful students who reached the C levels without going to Russia even once.

Hi, My mother language is Spanish and I also speak english and I am very interested in learning russian but I have no one to practice with. My question in, what it should be the first step to learn russian? Besides the alphabet
