I’m sure it was extremely exciting anda barrel of fun. The cool thing about it is that it’s easy for almost any good driver to do. 150 mph on a track like Daytona in a race car is a piece of cake.
It’s a roll bar mount for the 360. I mounted this one on the mid window bar. I mount in different places on race cars throughout the year of coverage at local tracks.
It has a chip that limits the motor to 5200 rpm(if I remember correctly). If you hold it wide open and it’s in the chip it kills the engine until you lift a fraction. You have to find the sweet spot to be just at the chip limit to go fastest.
You can only pass when the spotter allows. The cars that passed me were professional drivers doing the faster speed ride-a-longs. My first attempt to pass my coworker was not timed well as he gassed it down the back stretch so I was stuck behind him for another full lap.
It’s pretty close other than seeming slow because of what we’re used to in the sim. I still don’t think I’d have the fortitude to go 190+ I’m real life though!
