The Detroit Pistons were bad last year... very bad but dont let that distract you from the fact Cade Cunningham is well on his way to being one of the top point guards in the NBA. / 6manyt Business inquiries: 6Man@wearebv.com
They didn't forget its just impossible to look past 14 wins. Alot of people see him similarly to DeAron Fox in his early Kings days, alot of talent but what does it matter if it doesn't translate to wins. Having a coach who isnt ACTIVELY trying to get fired is going to make a MASSIVE difference this season just watch.
I mean, you pointed out exactly why people “forgot.” It’s not at all like Deearon Fox. Cades situation was muuuuch more hindering to his image and production and he still balled. We should definitely look past the 14 wins. There has never been a coach more determined to make his players look like shit.
@@daboss677 you didn't get love from your family while growing up, huh? Why else would a child like yourself be upset that others are enjoying themselves? Cope harder. We know your life sucks. Sucks worse than the Pistons. It's okay.
Cade also doesn't get foul calls yet still averaging 22-25pts a night. Add to that him saying that he doesn't even care what his numbers are, he just wants to win... that's a superstar in the making. Hopefully, Trajon Langdon's moves in the off-season will translate to a better Pistons team in October.
I personally believe he in a situation where his talent gets overlooked because of the team he is on. If he was on the Knicks, lakers, or whatever notable franchise or even if his team was in the playoffs more people wouldn’t say what they say about him.
It’s mostly because he plays in Detroit. If he played literally anywhere else people would understand that’s he’s in a shitty situation and appreciate his talent and superstar potential.
@@jahimuddin2306 it’s because other than Isaiah Thomas Detroit has never had any superstars that’s why they don’t get the respect individually. But team wise the bad boys and the 2000s pistons are 2 of the most respected teams in nba history
He's a good/solid player. He definitely doesn't suck but he isn't a star or a typical #1 pick to build around which is their problem. He's now paid like a superstar and he isn't good enough to carry a bad roster.
Watching your vids made me a Pistons sympathiser a few years back. Last year's perfromance was so disappointing that I kinda lost my excitement for this team... I really hope the Pistons can turn things around this year
I think his prime he’s gonna be a 25 8 ast 7 reb kinda guy, I could see home developing great defense to make him switchable and better version of prime ben Simmons or Stephon Marbury. I hope he fulfills his potential
such fax. He honestly reminds me so much like Luka doncic. He sometimes does that hesitation thing in the midrange once the defender is at his back like Luka does. Uses the pick and roll to feed his big men - like Luka does Is a big PG and can often use his own size to create buckets - like Luka does "Manipulates the oppositions big" Remember the Minnesota series? Yeah, Luka does that too. "Deadly midrange ability" Luka can score from anywhere. Like idk there might be some clone conversations going on these two are pretty similar.
Any true student of the game should absolutely luv Cade's game. He's not uber athletic, but athletic enough, smart, crafty, and cerebral is what makes him REALLY GOOD‼️‼️‼️ I'm looking forward to what him and the team can accomplish now with more qualified real NBA talent and players.
Just really has some efficiency issues when the season starts but he always gets better as the season goes. Kinda reminds me of how Luka would come out slow at times. Cade is gonna be a top 5 player in the league eventually, imo
I think his prime he’s gonna be a 25 8 ast 7 reb kinda guy, I could see home developing great defense to make him switchable and better version of prime ben Simmons or Penny Hardaway or funny enough grant hill. I hope he fulfills his potential and the front office can actually give him help
@@josh_harrison on a better team he won’t have as much offensive load, I think in the future he takes more shots and gets a better whistle. He’s a pass first guy, I see him like lebron during 2020
Cade is SO slept on!! His play style reminds me a bit of Luka BUT he's much more athletic!! Also not a Pistons fan but Cade has so much potential love his all around game
im a die hard pistons fan, cade is my favorite player. thus video was so nice to watch because someone is actually giving him credit for how good he is
I'd like to thank you on behalf of Detroit because this man is amazing but he gets no love because his team is practically G League players. I'm so glad that our off-season went so well because we're gonna be so much more competitive this year. I'm hoping we at least make the play in but I might be shooting too high considering where we just were LoL
I think they actually have the potential to win 25 to 30 games next year. That might not be considered a turnaround in most situations but when you only win 31 games over the last TWO seasons, it kinda would be a turnaround.
Anyone who doesn’t see Cade is HIM does not know ball. He’s so fucking skilled without having high end athleticism compared to some other players in the league.
I think I remember seeing you on twitter for flying all the way from Korea to a pistons game, apologies if im mistaken lol but I thought that was cool! Hope the trip was good if that was you, thank you either way
National media likes to forget that the owner of the pistons was forced to leave his Los Angeles liquor den, and have a meeting with the coach to get him to stop playing Killian Hayes, which he refused to do up until this point. Poor Cade.
Cade is slept on, he's a hard worker and has the talent to back it up. I feel for him being on such a crappy team. This offseason changes should most def help him shine next season.
Cade has been especially good when he’s had a modicum of spacing around him. It’s been few and far between due to the Pistons roster and injuries, but I expect a pretty great year loading
I know, sorry it's been far and few between but I'll definitely make more content going forward. A lot of my content now is kinda centred around what's happening in the moment and the Pistons haven't been too relevant sadly lol but I think that's gonna change, ill make some vids regardless anyway.
I think that was his initial measurements in college but the NBA has him at 6'6. Who knows though he might be taller lol. KD still claims he's not 7 ft
Hopefully, some of the new additions to the roster help create the spacing Cade needs to shine! Cade's legit but everyone is better when there's talent around them. Revved UP 906 did a great job of highlighting some of the new additions... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4DwfkxQAx7M.htmlsi=1D7LLpD0CKzxDAUI
He's gone from a bad first option on a bad team to an almost average option on a terrible team. But he was only 22 last year. Reason to believe that he could still be good.
I think Cade Cunningham is kind of overrated. You were trying to say that his stats were bad only because he has a bad team but most guys on a bad team end up with pretty good stats and become good stats, bad team guys. It's always up to an individual's interpretation and most people like Cade and feel bad for him playing for Detroit so they give him the benefit of the doubt where they wouldn't do that with somebody like Jalen Green. I don't think he's going to be an all NBA player though he may be an All-Star player depending on what happens with Detroit or whether he might get traded down the line.
@@chardeemacdennis3852 but he got no votes for All-Star. I did say that I think he will become a good player I'm just not sure about great. It's kind of hard to judge because you don't see Detroit games that often and yeah that whole year where he was out. Let's see what he does the next couple years.
@bookaufman9643 that's kinda what I'm saying.. went for 17 first yr.. played like 10 games 2nd yr and the went 23 the third.. the trajectory is extremely promising
Rumor is he's going to San Antonio. At this point he'd be insane not to. He's a perfect fit and young and would be practically guaranteed enough rings for 1 hand
Cade is s good to solid player. Everybody doesn't have to either be a superstar or trash. He isn't gonna carry a bad roster to the playoffs and he isn't somebody you build around but he isn't the problem either. They've also never hit on ANY other lottery picks so he never got a sidekick to rely on, he's a distributor and they can't find anyone else who can shoot or finish for him to be utilized effectively
Wasn’t too impressed his rookie year. Disappointed he sat out. This year, he played well with no help, but more importantly I felt, was how much he cared about winning and how visibly upset he was. It will be interesting to see if the pistons can capitalize on him at all in these next few years but it’ll be easy to continue forgetting about him if they can’t be better because the ranking is not working for them
