Welcome to the Blazers! Portland has been waiting for a solid, two-way SF for years. You should have a real opportunity in Portland and a fan base eager to embrace you.
@@Zoneread24 I don't need to, he already knows he is the most important player on the team and if he doesn't lead the team Washington will be in last place in the East
With Donovan Clingen and Scoot around him he should shine and hopefully get full starters minutes. I could see him getting 21 pts 9 reb and 5 ass plus being a top notch defender.
I see Deni soon having a jump similar to Lauri markkanen. Not exactly a superstar but a star level player or at least a very elite role player, regardless he's becoming legit. My favorite team is the Mavericks, and initially, with rumors of Dallas trading pre trade deadline with Washington, i actually wanted Deni because im a sicko of NBA, and i knew of Deni and saw his potential. Luckily, it turned out fine with Dallas trades, but i still want Deni this off-season because he'll be perfect in Dallas. Deni in Dallas would be perfect because Dallas already has two incredible scorers, so Deni doesn't have pressure to do too much now. Dallas also has high-level role players but are limited, so this is where Deni can shine his playmaking. And when Kyrie starts to slow down, by that time, i believe Deni can take the mantle of being Luka's co-star.
Excellent Analysis, Deni on Dallas would be very interesting and would definitely put him on the map. He could become a star with Luka and Kyrie next to him
I’m a Mavs fan as well and Deni is my dream target this summer, Josh Green and both our first round picks is my package, mavs need to sell the house for Deni, if they can get Corey Kispert too go for it
As a Wizards fan of 40 years, the first name I will submit is Richard Hamilton. Next was Rasheed Wallace. And Ben Wallace. Most recent is Daniel Gafford. Deni will surely do very well in Portland. Washington is DUMB.
Don’t why Washington traded him. He is so young. Might not ever be an all-nba guy or anything like that but he can eventually be a strong number 2 on a winning team
Great video, though the sound has room for improvement. Good for you for noticing Denny. One comment - he actually dialed down his defense this year, probably because it's not rewarding and because it's a team effort, and with players like Pool MIA on defense it's hard to make an impact all by yourself. Checkout his defensive stats for the previous seasons... And what was noticeable is that he was always tasked with guarding the other team's star player, on every position - Lebron, Giannis, Kyrie, etc. and usually gave them a really hard time with a defensive grit that they were unfamiliar with. Looking forward to the next season!
Watching this after the nba finals. This man would be great on the mavs, I hope they can wake up and get him, he would develop his game near luka and Kai and would get some usage as they need a 3rd creator. The new owner of the mavs is also Israeli so maybe 🙏
Same with me brotha, I’m a Mavs fan and I’ve watched Wizards games this season just to watch Deni, people don’t believe me when I say he would be a star next to Luka and Kyrie, he has basically no weaknesses to his game, International players are always better overall players than American IQ wise and just think it would be a perfect fit
Him and Clingen will be worshiped like demi Gods in Portland if they can turn the Blazers around, as bad as the Blazers were they were still better than Washington.
Great vid, watched deni from his rocky year but that don't think he will ever be an all star, he has the talent but his very much a team player. I believe that in the near future he will be a very very important part of a contender, with this year 3 pointers his the perfect modern nba started for a winning team.
@@Mugi729 Yeah, I think that Derrick White and KP are the living prove that it's almost impossible to get selected for the Allstar if you're not the #1 or #2 guy on the team, and I believe that if Deni is traded to a contender he will be their #3 guy at best.
@@omerazulay3198 All star numbers on the WIzards will NOT get him to the All-star. Russell Westbrook averaged a triple double with the Wizards, and wasn't picked for the All-star. Players on losing teams don't go to the All-start, no matter how good their numbers are.
Deni plays with two of the worst shot chuckers in the NBA and has been misutilized throughout his career with Washington trying to make him a spot up shooter despite him having clear playmaking talent. Despite the terrible coaching and horrendous team play from the Wizards' supposed "stars", Avdija still averaged around 15 points, 7 boards, and 4 assists. This isn't a case of a player just chucking up shots on a bad team, Deni was super efficient and has been Washington's best defender since his rookie season. He took less than 11 shots per game this season because Poole and Kuzma were so ball dominant, so it's not like he's just putting up empty stats on a bad team. He was an incredibly effective role player who should've been given the ball more
