Jagmeet takes 150k from the NDP to spend on his constituency office but office is closed. 🤔🤔 I wouldn't be surprised if there was some embezzlement involved.
That’s the photo op bike is rides for Ottawa approved press gallery, when he cruises around back in the riding he drives his Beamer or his Mercedes suv .
Brother Josh , very heavy conversation, has to be had . Once again……..Josh you’re awesome! Keep up the great work , I really enjoy and look forward to hearing and watching your program. From P.G. B.C. .
Minimum wage goes up, which then forces inflation up. Your burger combo will go up in price, your groceries go up in price, and in the end, that wage increase has been eroded.
That's an admirable perspective on T&R day. The problem that I have with it is that it's institutionalized a grievance. Kanye put it best when he said these kinds of things are like having a "remember when your partner cheated?" day. Like at a certain point you need to move on and not make an annual thing out of re-openning the wounds.
My 12-year old's impression of TRC Day (from school) was that all Indigenous children were abducted from their homes, abused, and and ultimately died of that abuse or malnourishment while at the school. Obviously, these kinds of horrors happened, but the broader reality is that: -Only about a third of indigenous kids attended -Many were voluntarily sent by their parents so they'd have more opportunities within the developing Canadian society -About 1/4 of all kids that went, died at the school, but many due to TB which was a leading cause of death across all communities at that time And now the NDP has introduced a bill to criminalize speech that runs counter to the "Residential School Genocide" narrative that's being taught at school, but how is that at all reasonable when far too little scrutiny is being applied to the "Truth" part of "Truth and Reconciliation"? I am all for this being a national day of mourning and reflection, but people aren't going to subscribe to it if its being propagandized.
I would say there is a solid base and foundation on the challenge of the claims and not just from the "graves" but all the other factors and agendas being pushed. There is value and a need to have honest conversations around the schools from the start to the end, and all that came from it. There are many who have had good experiences on all fronts and many that didn't, but all sides need to be talked about. Ankther side I've seen more talking about is everyone being Canadian and under Canada with a rich history and culture of many different paths and places. It's interesting to hear more talking about this, and maybe something that should be talked about more is ending the 2 caste system and bringing light onto all under the same rules, laws, and governing. More to this on many levels and more need to open their conversations around all of this and look forward to what's to come. My two nickels on it
The Indians f'd it all up. The three girls that jailed bishop O'Conner paved the way for all the abused to face their abusers in court. Instead, they all took the governments hush money in order to protect the churches. Now that all that money is gone, the grift continues. Opportunity blown in place.
I agree with you on Truth & Reconciliation. It requires open, honest conversation, open minds and hearts and the seeking of common ground to move forward together. We agree on our Creator and that we share His creation. We are brothers and sisters. Not above or below one another but equal.
Very Canadian response to "Truth and reconciliation day." The thing is most people don't spend the day doing what you and your wife did. Most Canadians work that day. It seems that it is just a day off work for government workers and a day to condemn us as a genocidal nation without evidence. Show me the bones? It would benefit the indigenous peoples more to supply them with clean drinking water and rehab facilities than to wag your righteous finger at our ancestors. First time at your channel, not impressed.
