Indian gets into a hiring position, then only hires Indians. And I dont blame non indians for not applying. They speak Hindu at work and they put themselves first. Send em back. Dude, I used to work at Cineplex, Tim Hortons, and other retail stores in the past, now that I have way more experience and I'm an expert at Customer Service I applied to these jobs cuz I wanted to check it out, they didn't hire me XD. What retards are in charge of the hiring process of these places? I can't imagine how much harder young people have it nowadays.
This isn't the first time this has happened. Under Harper, there was a program designed to help small to medium companies to hire foreign skilled specialists as many immigrants have credentials in a field of work. Think, accountints, engineers and dental assistants. The government gave financial support to the company so the burden would not be so heavy with the element of risk they were taking with a new foreign staff member. The problem was it was meant for elite positions within a company. What happened was the complete opposite. Major fast food chains such as Tim Hortons filled almost all of there low entry level grunt positions with government subsidized foreigners. Once it became clear all these companies were abusing the spirit of the program, Harper terminated the program. Once that happened, all the former subsidized were laid off.
It ain't just kids and it ain't just Tim Horton's, my friends. There are vast sectors of the economy that will NOT hire white people, no matter how desperate they claim to be for labour. Trucking and the oil patch are two which spring to mind that I happen to be familiar with but there are many, many more. Cut off the supply of this fake, cheap labour and let it be known that it ain't coming back and businesses can sink or swim as they see fit! And one thing you can take to the bank is that there is no one; and I mean NO one, who understands this issue any better than Trudeau. He understands it because he created it... on purpose! Any man who proposes buying up hotels to house illegals but totally ignores our own homeless population, and recommends assisted suicide to suffering veterans, is a person totally lacking in anything resembling morals and ethics. Oh yeah; and you guys are a bunch of racists for even talking about this topic.
I have hired a 14 year old, paying her $25/hour for an entry level position. A bit of a burden on me, but she is definitely paying for herself, and watching her develop, learn, and grow is a value that doesn't show up on the balance sheet. When you pay garbage, you get garbage.
The problem is attitude with people trying to go out to find jobs,everyday i see lazy people complaining about no jobs, when they dont even look out online or go out to find jobs. Everytime is that i see "these immigrants " oh my these immigrants GOING OUTSIDE!!! HANDING OUT THEIR RESUMES!!!!! UNLIKE SOME OTHERS, to be honest no govt aint offering any subsidy to hire immigrants. people hire immigrants because they are easy to abuse and exploit by employers. The countries they come from never had a decent work culture so they always have this in mind that their boss or senior is always in the seniors position. The attitude and laziness is the problem.
Canada is desparate for workers, has been for decades, but not in sales and service, that`s for sure If you go to any company that is in trades and bring your resume for an entry level position, you will most likely be hired, even if you dont have any previous experience in this field, because trades are so desparate right now.
I had a girl in my class a Pakistani international student very hard working she moved up the job later very quick and speaks perfect English. She started from working in Tim Hortons she worked with mostly Indian international students. She told me that most of workers worked under the table and were paid in cash to not include the hours legally
This is kind of a double edged sword. On one hand we complain prices are too high because labor prices are too high. On the other we want jobs for canadians...which comes at a higher cost and makes things more expensive.
I chatted with a restaurant owner here in Brockville Ont. I made note that most of his staff was older. He stated that when he has hired younger folks many seem not to understand stuff like punctuality, not knowing the need to call in when they decide to take a day off while demanding higher pay for even showing up. He states all young folks aren't like that but he is becoming fedup babysitting those that seem to lack work ethics. In short for the most part the older workers on whole were more reliable.
Stopped using Tim Hortons after having a cup of boiling hot coffee spilt all over me & my car by a woman who barely spoke English & tried to force me out of the drive through. When I went in to complain I got nowhere. There seem to be no white people employed at Tim Hortons anymore.
After induring a spine injury I am also looking for an entry level job, however that is impossible in this climate. Can us born and raised Canadians who were dealt a bad hand get some employment, please?
The truth is not about money savings for corporations. The HR departments are being stocked by woke, liberal and people who hire only people from their homeland.
If your kid can't find a job, don't blame the owner of the store for that...he or she will hire whoever they feel comfortable hiring. You know why? THEY put in the money to buy the franchise. THEY put in all the risks to get this business running. THEY pay more taxes in one year than most Canadians pay in their life. If these owners want to hire foreign temporary workers for WHATEVER reason, that's THEIR RIGHT. And often times, these owners own multiple stores and have been in business for a long time. THEY know what works for them. If YOU want your kid working their, apply or better yet, OPEN YOUR OWN FRANCHISE AND HIRE WHO YOU WANT TO WORK THEIR. LOL. But nope, a lot of these people who complain, simply just do that, complain but don't put in the work these people have. I hate people who complain on social media or on the internet but do the least. Talk the most, but do the least. Open up your own store and hire your own kids. Put your money where your mouth is. LOL.
I watched my wife and her staff get replaced by foreign workers at Tim Horton's. They let them go. A lot of these store owners have 4 or five stores. My wife had exemplary service awards when she was on staff. They were mostly Canadian workers.
