I’m not good with language, what’s an auto-reflective adverb?

@@StarboyXL9 well considering that over 90% of the Necrons still slumber and the Imperium, Chaos and even the Tyranids struggle to beat a single fleet. The Necrons are not in decline and the only reason the Imperium stands is the Necrons see us as useful and a possible way to become living again.

Ironically while the Necrons think man is primitive, they acknowledge gentlemanly naval warfare and afforded human intruders the same greetings they would fellow Necrons. -According to Battlefleet Gothic Armada (the video game) anyways

I've often wondered if the Eldar Gods weren't Old Ones themselves. Lead researchers on project Eldar, who ascended into Warp based lifeforms, maybe even doing so through the power of their creations' belief in them. It would be a dark irony if some of the Old Ones chose to become Gods to battle the Ctan, only to so roil the warp in the process that it doomed the rest of their race. It would be doubly dark and exponentially more ironic, since it would be those same creations who caused their apotheosis who would go on to birth the being which destroyed those Gods in the end.

@@jesseberg3271 I really don't think it's much of a mystery. They're just warp gods, born of worship and belief, just like the Fenrisian pantheon, Gork and Mork, the God of the Greater Good, the Machine God, and the pacifist Necromundan rat-god.

A solar sistem sized spehear is likely to be some form of artificial construct sncasing a star. Colloquially known as a dyson sphear. Its porpouse is to utilize completely the energy emitted by naturally occuring fusion within said star.

I think there’s an upper limit to necron warp resistance. Like, once the warp energies reach a critical mass, the necrons can’t do anything to stop it.

Yes and no. Necrons are physical creatures of matter, so anything from the Warp that effects physical matter will effect them and they have no ability to fight back because they have no souls and therefore no psychic power. They also have no soul and therefore cannot be effected spiritually (and frankly, daemons shouldn't even notice their presence). For example, a Necron could be blasted apart with psychic lightning but cannot be corrupted or possessed. The tricky part is whether the Warp is immune to the Necrons. GW contradicts themselves based on what the plot demands. On the one hand, the Necrons and the C'tan have no souls, are not psykers at all and therefore should not be able to do anything that influences the warp in any way, shape or form. On the other hand, they can somehow build Dolmen gates that hack the Webway and pylons that repel the Warp. That shouldn't be possible, but the plot called for it.

Given that the Eldar hods take physical form, I prefer the explanation that they were the mortal leaders of the Eldar race during the war, similar beings to the Emperor in terms of psychic might, who were later misinterpreted as gods.

@@eldradulthran6482 There was no mention of an Ultimate-Eldar. Given that ordinary Eldars are biologically immortal before the birth of Slaanesh and that the War in Heaven is so long ago things might just swing in amy direction

@@eltonjohntubola3212 As the Eldar gods are both supremely powerful Warp beings and can also physically manifest, it is the only explanation that really makes sense, given that the only similar being we know of is the Emperor. Remember that the records the Eldar have now are fragments, their Fall being many times more traumatic and devastating than Old Night. It is very conceivable that the Old Ones created lieutenants to rule the Eldar who, through accident or on purpose, became gods amongst the Eldar, and drank of their worship. Given their physical power, I'd suggest that most other solutions lack any weight.
