I appreciate hearing about pricing right away. It's like shopping for a wedding dress. I don't want to look at the ones I can't afford. This is a nice little model.
PJ, you are so classy. I find your presentation to be tasteful and clear. I appreciate your honesty and how much you care about your viewers. It’s because of you that I’ve been able to really enjoy these videos from Princess Craft. If and when I make that purchase, I’ll be referencing that I did it because of you. Thanks and I hope you continue to be well. Blessings.
This is probably the best walkthrough I’ve every watched! Very informative, excellent views of all features. Thank you. Other manufacturers could learn a lot on presentation.
PJ ... you did an excellent job presenting this! I’ve watched a lot of these and I usually end up evaluating the presenter as well as the RV. Very nice delivery. Smooth, informative and credible.
Hi PJ; I have watched many of your travel trailer videos and feel like I know you! You have a great way of presenting the products. There was a RV Show in my town this last weekend and I got to actually view a Lil Guy Max and was really impressed with it. I remembered much of what you presented both of the Mini Max and the full Max and there was some other folks looking at it too and I showed them the many features of the trailer - you are contagious!! Jim
PJ you are the absolute best RV Presenter,,,,, for years I have watched all of them,,,,the rest of them are too slow, yapp too much about other things and just aggravate me.
Great review. I watched another with a guy explaining all he said is here’s a kitchen it’s small. While she said it’s big! Lots of space! I like how she explained in more detail. BUT one thing many make a mistake on is. Not to much explaining on the bed. That’s the whole idea of a camper I’d like to see beds. Not sit and explain how to convert to a bed then explain in detail about smoke detector and window demonstration
Oh yeah, that pull tab drawer at the kitchen sink is to stow the dried out kitchen sponge and brush so they’re not in use. Handy, and ready for when you’re on the move.
So similar to the T@Bs by NuCamp, but seems to be a better price with more features included. I love the NuCamp 400, but with the options I want, it would be close to $40K. Thank you for showing me a different option in a lower price range!
Mrs. PJ explains things very well - because of her professionalism I am geared to buy..... Question: is it hard or challenging for a woman to lift those balance stock holders all around the trailer?😊
The privacy shade coming up from the bottom is brilliant. Privacy with the bug screen open at the top portion is a BIG plus. The cornice above the window are minimal decoration, not huge, gaudy or old style. Nice. The frig. is elevated, thats great! Solid shower door is nice too. The only thing is the front door screen. Those slide type are nice but...I cant risk that thing not being latched or its durability to stay latched and closed. i guess I would have to see it in person. This is a fabulous trailer! 2021 is an improvement over previous years
Really nice, but if it's not really 6' inside then not a candidate. And the price on these is up in the Casita range. I'd have a hard time picking this over one of those.
great little camper.. but where do you put your clothes if you use the cabinet for pantry items? Is there any storage in the seats of the eating area? I would also like to see the ease of the table collapsing on the video. PJ rocks!
Craftsmanship seems to be very good. I like the twin bed floor plan and interior colors. I would buy one tomorrow but I am 6’ 2” so ceiling is too low and bed is too short for me. ☹️
Nice little trailer, but I could never understand why most trailers put the AC dropdown right where one must stand to use the sink. Being 6'3", this is important to me.
Cabinets??? Can I get upper cabinets in rear instead of the long window????? How can I get a brochure? The title says 2021 but the description says 2020. Which is this one ?
Excellent overview, thanks. I really like this and the Max also. Two questions: is the undercarriage enclosed? Also, how does a person access the spare tire? Looks like it was underneath. Thanks.
Great video! Can I legally park one of these in my condo association private parking? Are there any guidelines to park and probably sleep one or 2 nights a weeks in it? I am planning to sell my house and move in with my dad - but.. i know i am going to need that “ on my own space” once in a while - please help! Love this little guy!!! 💙
Is there capability to connect a separate solar panel? So if trailer is in the shade, a solar panel can be placed in a sunny spot? Riverside trailers have that option.
Dont like the newer dark counter spaces and dark fridge panel. I do have a 2019 Max (the larger) and the cabinet work was better then. I do like the solid maple doors and the maple laminate plywood for the cabinets.
Thank you for the great presentation. Really loved this trailer, but it looks like it will be too tall to go into my 7' high garage. Do you make a trailer with the same features but not so high?
Thanks for watching! Princess Craft is a dealership... so we don't make trailers. There are certainly smaller teardrop trailers available on the market, but if they have an indoor shower and kitchen, they aren't likely to be able to fit in a garage's 7'(standard) garage door opening.
I think I've watched this video 5+ times. Very nice presenter. No Texas drawwl! Especially to an Iowan. Her hight is a good marketing idea. Wouldn't want a 6'5" cowboy in this nice video.
Interesting trailer. If you order the 200 amp solar package what options are available for upgraded batteries? Also I didn’t hear anything about an inverter, is that an option?
The manufacturer only offers the solar options. You'll need to see what battery options the dealership offers. Usually configurations from standard wet lead-acid, AGM, all the way to lithium are easily had through a dealership's service center.
Two questions: can the opaque shower door be installed before purchase instead of frosted and is it possible to buy the mini max *without* the air conditioner? I plan to boondock a lot.
Great tour. I like this model. I know my Tacoma can pull it. The next size Little Guy weighs 3100, I believe. Would my Tacoma be able to pull that Model? I'm rated for 6500 Gross weight. This is a professional review. Thank you!
"Most" of the recent Tacoma models we know of out there can tow the next size up, Little Guy Max. It's pretty common to see Tacomas with towing ratings around 7,000 lbs, or more! But, by the same token, there are Tacomas that are rated for much less. You'll need to verify your exact truck's towing capacity. Often that number can be found on a sticker located inside the door frame on the driver's side. You can also have a local Toyota or RV dealership help you verify your vehicle's capabilities. Thanks!
Microwaves are always nice up higher, but upper cabinets sometimes aren’t deep enough and a microwave on top would take up the eye level space making the trailer feel smaller! Bet you could mod the tv out of the space…. And no, you did not miss the sink in the bathroom. These are the adjustments made for a small trailer!
I really like it, why is the smaller the trailer the higher the price? I’m looking to get into rev camping and traveling and would really like a smaller trailer but seems like if I go just alittle bigger the price drops
I also have found that same concern but the truth is the workmanship on this small trailer is so much better than the trailer just 1 or 2 sizes up. We plan on keeping this from 5 to 10 years and I would really rather have something that's well built that I don't have to mess with.
This particular one has the Rough Rider package... Little Guy's "off-road" upgrades to the suspension, wheels, and tires. That may account for difference between the base model weight and the trailer shown in the video. I'll ask around to see if I can get more details.
I like it very much but you mentioned it has a 5 gal propane tank. Did you mean to say a 20 gal ? And, does it have enough room to add a second battery?
A 5 gallon propane tank is a 20 pound propane tank. It's the same size as a standard tank people usually use for backyard propane grills. That makes it easy to exchange the tanks at convenience stores, hardware stores, and many other locations.
@@joelhuebner On my '19 Mini I rotated the battery 90°, mounted it in the very center of the case, and that allowed enough room to add a 2nd propane tank.
Not in my 2020. I wish you could just slide the solid slat out and move the table out and have a tiny cushion to cover the solid slat so you didn’t have to have the table as part of the bed. I find the table awkward to move up and down on the newer versions

Could a 2021 2 door Mini Cooper tow this? I was going to tow a small teardrop trailer, but I could move out of my apartment with this. Ps. The high speed roof fan is awesome.
@@davidzweiban5549 yep, always a tough line for dealers to walk since we should be sticking with manufacturers recommendations. Lots of folks doing it and as far as I can tell, they’re having a great time!!
I don’t understand why the company didn’t make the bathroom door opaque for just basic privacy. The main bathroom doors at home aren’t frosted. Duh. They upgraded that for the 21’...... guys designed it.
@@PrincessCraft Thank you for responding. If you can recommend a travel trailer/camper that can be pulled by an Xfinity QX60 SUV that has ADULT-sized bunkbeds instead of a large bed for sleeping, please let me know! BTW, I love watching your videos. You always do such a good job describing the various campers. I've been watching your videos on RU-vid for over a year now.
@@rebeccaherman4432 Thanks! We'll look at the products our manufacturers send us to see if we come up with an option or two with adult-sized bunks, and that weighs safely below 5, 000 lbs. for your Infinity. No options come to mind right off the top of my head (R Pod stopped producing the one I knew of), so it'll be a "cross your fingers" type of situation.
everyone keeps saying "great for small suv's" - they simply aren't --- small suv's can only pull about 1500-2000 lbs at most since they've all gone to 4 cyl engines.
Hey Mike, PJ is flattered! I don't imagine she'll be making her way to Florida any time soon with COVID-19 concerns everywhere... and her husband might want to join her on any trips to fun destinations. Thanks for keeping up with all of the tours PJ does!
@@PrincessCraft LOL. OOOooops! I respect her being married! I DO LOVE The TAB line, as well the Mini Max ... and the Aliner. I am setting up finances to go see these models in person. They are ALL beautifully designed!
What is it that you are actually asking? How is what? I wanna know too LOL. 1) insulation, how well does it retain interior temperatures. 2) how does it handle being towed on winter roads. 3) do the water lines need special accommodations during freezing weather?
@@PrincessCraft seems ones under 15 feet without baths, with an outdoor shower, built well.. Oliver, Scamp, and Casita. Really need to have a kid sleep area.
I thought so too. But after reviewing some of the other campers, it's a darn good price. Some of the others I reviewed didn't have half of the features this one does and they want 30, 35 thousand. And looking at them they found the cheapest material they could find. I quickly came back to this one. This camper is built with quality and good fixtures. For example, most of the others I reviewed had plastic toilets this one has a porcelain toilet. The only thing that annoys me is the 2020 the stargazer was standard. The 2021 stargazer is no longer standard, it's been made an option!
I have a question. Why do all the trailers and RV,s put in a radio? We all have cell phones that we can get music from and other electronic sources. It just seems like a waste of space and cost. I’d rather have another drawer than a radio. We are just starting to look for an rv. We had 2 different ones years ago and I don’t remember them having radios. Also they put in tv’s. Do they deduct the cost of them if you don’t need it???
True but your view may be the highway or a brick wall. Now renting an RV makes a lot of sense if you’re new to RV camping, or if you won’t use it that much in any given year.
@Carl Gandolfo ...Balsa wood? Carl, you don't know what you are talking about! Balsa wood would be prohibitively expensive to put in a travel trailer. Forest River is a high quality product.
