I saw similar results in the GT2 vs the TSR2. i had no intention of switching, and I picked up on avg. 11 total yards with the GT2 over the TSR2. This Saturday I had drives of 301, 315, and 330. Very pleased with the gains I have seen from the GT2. This Saturday was my 6th round using it. I went with the Hzrdus Black 60 g stiff shaft
Good idea 💡 when I did my fitting I did try the original Venus first and speed was up for what that’s worth. Maybe another video just swapping the shafts?!
Sadly there’s going to be current TSR owners who’ll troll the hell out of every comparison video because they can’t upgrade. To eliminate the comments, the same shaft should have been used or it’ll be a troll fest.
The GT 2 with added weight is the lowest spin model my opinion. Hit 250 balls today with GT 2 3 &4. the 3 and 4 model 3000 spin on the misses, 3 being the top spinny for me and 4 being the hyper drive but not rewarded for off center strikes . the GT2 2400 avg spin on the toe and a avg of 17-2200 ball spin on the center with the low spin driver . I was amazing . My avg carry distance is went up by over ten yards and was rewarded with the miss hits with the GT2. GT 3&4 I was penalized and the reward was only 6-8 yards more. GT 2 all the way.
Was it just me- or was your smash factor consistently better with the TSR? I understand you swung it slower but it does seem the TSR might be more efficient?
On center 🎯 strikes they were both 1.49-1.50 SF. Like I said I hit my TSR really well, need some more reps w the GT to find the center most of the time like I did w the TSR.
Not really comparable because the shafts are much different. Sure they’re similar weight and extra stiff but hardly comparable. Why not just hit both with the same shafts? Original ventus black is always on the lower end of speed. It’s extremely stable but never the fastest or most efficient in terms of speed and distance.
That is not accurate at all. My clubhead speed and ball speed increased. Clubhead speed increased due to the lighter materials used in the GT2 over the TSR2.
Acting surprised by the by the faster speeds on this video when you probably were told about youf faxter speeds when the fitter fit you in a side by side comparison. 😏 Cringe at stepping on the new driver head to pickup the new club to hit it. 🙂↔😑😱😕
@@systemoptimizer3542 oh you figured me out… I’m actually a Hollywood actor that Titleist is paying… Darn, I thought I could get away with it. #TennisShoes
Your carry distance was the same or better with the TSR but you never called that out., what’s interesting to me is you had lower club head speed with the TSR but the same or better carry distance then the GT….You’re a bias Titleist guy getting paid, not sure why you do reviews because it means nothing….The truly non bias reviews I’ve seen there is zero difference between TSR and GT. LOL!
@@alewisgolf If true why don’t you do an honest review and call out how where the TRS was better and show the side by side numbers? Most swing coach reviews of the GT that I’ve seen have been non bias and have shown very little if any difference between TRS & GT, fitters and guys trying to sell clubs have been just a sales pitch’s in the form of a review. I’ve hit the GT and literally no difference from my current driver, but $650!!!
@@JC-zq8vk I did show the numbers in the beginning of the vid. Pretty clear the club and ball speed when up 🤷♂️but all good, the TSR is a great driver too.
