Very thorough review, but it would be better if the room wasn’t so dark and why have you used such an odd camera angle - a lower table so the viewer could look down on the jacket in a well lit room would make them even better.
I bought one of these from you last year. I took it to Iceland and never once did I feel cold, despite it being very cold outside! Liking the new style of video as well. Good to see some closeup of the product while you are talking about it. 🙂
I just tried this on at go outdoors was really nice, fitted well, and could feel how warm it would be but for nearly £200 unfortunately can’t justify that atm😢
Hi I'm looking for a winter down jacket for when I get to camp in the lake District I have the microlight alpine but wanting something with extra warmth so now I'm stuck between the neutrino or the mythic alpine
Hi there, the neutrino would be a significantly warmer jacket, better as a light warm outer for winter use in the UK than the Mythic Alpine which itself sits between the Neutrino and Microlight for warmth but features Ultralight fill and fabrics. Hope this helps
Oh wow, I’m in this exact same scenario and narrowed it down to the same two jackets, from reading the rab website I would have assumed the mythic ultra would have been warmer than the neutrino. Glad I watched this now
@@craighewison1738 also I think maybe the mythic possibly Pack's down a bit smaller and weighs slightly less but for the 20g more and slightly bigger size the warmth will be better
Neutrino Pro or Electron Pro. Which would be warmer/better for everyday use in a Canadian Winter? I want it to be not to hot for the car, and warm enough for -20 to -35 for walking (not high intensity). We mostly have a snowy, but dry winter where I live.
Hi, the neutrino pro is the warmer jacket, still might not be warm enough for those temps, maybe take a look at the Rab positron jacket, which is xox wall body with a bit more down than the neutrino so warmer again without being too bulky and heavy
