7:00 it's only worth it if the +3 stat mod puts the stat at or above the next tier number. For instance, if you need the +3 resilience mod to get to 100 resilience, then it's worth it. But if you're at 91 resilience, and you use the +3 mod you're only gonna be at 94 resilience which changes nothing.
Fail safe armor is low stat with poor stat distribution. It starts improving after prestige 3 with fail safe rep. Everything seems to be a lower stat source until you prestige reps and don’t forget to max season pass
You need to focus echo engrams into armor for high rolls. I focused about 40 pieces of armor over the last week and maybe got 5 or 6 pieces with less than a 65 roll. You can't just open echos and expect high rolls

It's also the easiest and can be done as a solo player, 100% recommend it. Later down the year we'll get more vendors in the HELM that will also sell high stat armor.
@@day3553 Because in order to obtain quads you need to sacrifice Fragments and Mods, which is simply never worth it unless your build already uses those specific Fragments but that's very rare and most likely means that you are using the wrong Fragments.
Usually, yes, as Reslience and Recovery are generally wanted to be decently high in most builds you would want. Grenades (discipline) are generally stronger than Melee (Strength). As a Titan main, I tend to make melee focused builds using 100 Strength, so I use Strength focus instead pretty often. These are your best two options to ensure 100 Resilience and high Recovery, which both help you stay alive in all content.
@@SIXminWHISTLE i see, so it depends on what exactly you want for your build. I didn’t really understand the distribution example, as it seems that each stat (in their respective bucket) has an equal chance of dropping? Or does the game try and give you what you need/don’t have.
@tylerlawal By default, with no focus, the 6 stats are randomized. With mod focusing, the top 3 stats and the bottom 3 stats are linked as far as how the game calculates any given roll. When uing a focusing mod for one of the lower 3, like discipline, it forces the game make that one stat higher, and puts the rest of the available points in the other (top) half of the skills, causing a better stat distribution. This is not explained in-game. it's been figured out by the community, and simplified down to "focus Discipline" as a general rule, with explanations being all over the place. It essentially allows you to aim for high scores in 3 or 4 stats, and the rest of how the game is balanced generally means a couple aren't important depending on your class, Intellect for everyone and Mobility or Strength depending you class.
80 stats on legendary armor is possible if it's masterworked. The base max is 68. When you masterwork armor, it adds +2 to every stat, which will bring it from 68 to 80.
"Creators" need to stop with these specific vids. The strat hasn't changed in years. Step one focus a ton at the helm. Step two use Dim to optimize your build. Step three, there is no step three that's it you're done.

I'm convinced the bucket method doesn't work as intended. I've now focused and got drops 6 times in a row. Every. Single. Time. I got 2 resilience. Good, and even great, discipline, but always a 2 in resilience. Statistically speaking, one of them likely would have had good resilience. But no. The rng gods have condemned me to 2 resilience.
@ethanzink6455 I know. This video was specifically saying to have a discipline mod because there's a 67% chance that you'd get a stat you want in the top bucket. I'm just saying that the method in this video doesn't seem to work. So, I'm just sticking with a resilience mod.

@@antgonz4436 you didn't tell me anything. You barely need to rely on your class ability. Even at 0 you class ability recharge time is under 45 seconds. At 30 it's under 38 seconds. That's nothing. Unless your whole build is based on dodging, high mobility is not needed in PvE. Class ability is the quickest regenerating ability. Why focus on that when you can focus on getting longer regenerating abilities on a shorter cool time. You're just wasting stats.

Wrong! 60 is not consider hight stats armor. A good hight stats armor is at the very least 64 or 65, not 60. The more the better. Yes the max range s 68 or 69 for Legendaries, for exotics I have a few 69 and 70s, without master working them.
By definition 60+ is considered High Stat Armor. Like I've mentioned in the video, if you are a seasoned player you'll most likely be looking at 64 and above.
Seasonal vendor is a terrible spot right now. They literally roll bugged 48 pieces. You must be trolling. You also didn’t mention the fact you have to play the entirety of shadowkeep to unlock pit of heresy. A LOT more than just $5 and you’re farming like you make it sound.
Hey buddy, we must be playing a different game then because every single piece I've bought so far from Failsafe has been a 64 and above. Also Shadowkeep is literally worth 3$ if you know where to look, last season I bought ALL the DLCs available for 50$ on my new account, gotta be smart about it 😅
legendary armor can roll with 69 total stats but it really really rare, I've only ever seen raid and master dungeon armor pieces drop with 69 total stats.
if the max stat roll is 68+10+12 with mods & masterwork = 90, x4 = 360 + 22 from class item with mods & masterwork = 382. 0:08 shows the total stats at 439 could someone explain how this is possible?
8:18 Another tip here is that you can scroll down to the armor energy section in D2 Armor Picker and tell it that you only want to have 1 energy available on your legs, meaning the generator will only show you armor combinations that result in the stats you want with 9 Leg energy spent (the cost of 3 Surge mods). I didn't see anyone mention this so I thought I'd chime in.
All nice and fancy but totaly useless when you need to use fragments to get those stats that are mid or useless. Its far more better to have the best fragments on which often give stat penalties than using crap fragments that give plus stats. So 3 or 4 100 stats is really just a fancy thing but dont do much for you when using terrible fragments. Since fragment makes a build powerfull or not.
For sure I always tell people the exact same things, the priority goes like this: Fragments > Mods > Stats Very rare to see a build that works with all positive Fragments.

I'm a little confused, the max amount of stats spread across 4 different stats should be 361, not 403, so I must be missing something (Artifice, masterwork, mods are included)
you missed one thing with D2ArmorPicker Which is you can actually say how many points on each piece is already taken up per piece which helps with the armorpicker
Jumped back into Destiny after a long hiatus. Why do you have to get to the final boss checkpoint on a second character for pit of heresy? What's the purpose of that?
So you can save the Checkpoint on a second character, that's how you farm bosses in Destiny 2. You need the checkpoint on two characters because once you complete the encounter one CP will get removed.
Hi, great explanation, just one question: Do I need to rank up all my armours to 10 for d2armorpicker to calculate or does it take that into account and just tells me that I would have to rank them up?
At the bottom there is a setting called ''Assume all Legendary Items are Masterworked'' if you have that ticked then D2armorPicker will asume that all your armor is lvl 10.
The ones you buy directly from her? That's weird like 9/10 pieces were 62+ for me. Pit is also farmable this week and you can also get Echo engrams too from killing the final boss, so it's a 2 for 1. So it's definitely worth giving a try until Tuesday.

0:53 DO NOT get stats like that. That is the wrong way and worst role I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen 55 stat gears better than that. If they are only maxed out in 2 dump it no matter what the total is

(Hunter has triple rn cuz I be messing around with diffrent exotics recently). You don’t want those kind of stats in your gear. Just figured I’d let you know (:
