The M4 CSL - what an embarrassing use of a highlighter, and not even Texaco red I'd bet my M3 on it. BMW used to be a brute in a suit, now it doesn't know what to be... remind you of anything with purple hair? Yes the car is fast, but does it have emotion or a soul? It's a difficult proposition when fake audio is pumped into the cabin, I mean why not play a Ferrari V12, something nice instead, it would be just as tacky and low rent like a fake blow off exhaust or Swarovski crystal in the cabin.

@@Str8representing lifespan and reliability bro the year is 2024 there is no diffrence what is the engine capacity, the alloy that was used in blocks are very diffrent from that was used before 30 years now it is way more durable, and believe me BMW is on the top in, they made the perfect examlpe 10 years ago BMW i8 3 cyl 1.5 Litre engine that still runs smooth with a lot of KM on the clock

My M52B28 got a damaged piston and oil leaking (i guess head gasket). It drives since 30.000 km without an issue and almost full power. BMW 6 cylinder are really no joke

LMAO what are you talking about... 488 GTB? It did 7:00 in the hands of an amateur journalist who had the opportunity to do like 3 laps in total with it in less than ideal conditions and regular road tires. This is nowhere near as fast. It's over 20 seconds slower on semi-slick tires in ideal conditions and with a driver that did thousands of laps around tracks with this car.

@@derbigpr500 You're mixing the 488 GTB and the 488 Pista i think. Although it's true that the 488 GTB would probable put down a faster time on today's pavement and with semi-slick tyres, it's very unlikely the difference would be over 10-15s.

They probably took a pre-lci xdrive model and retrofitted cs parts to it.

cuz this is CSL, not the CS, CS cant go so fast, check m3 cs times, they way worster, should be +- equal, i think with new regulation restyle m4 and m4cs are slow even pre-lci model, due the regulation

The M4 CS starts production in July 2024... They recorded this lap on the same day (using a prototype obviously) and with the same driver that the M2, the M3 CS and the improved M4 CSL laptimes were taken so I think it makes sense to release the video now that the M4 CS got announced. They could have mentioned the age of the video and the prototype status of the car in the description, though

Its not the CS. Its pre LCI CSL. The seats are different too.

But that stock c7 loses to this by 3 bus lengths from a dig and a roll. With 0 luxury interior and no tech.
