I've visited Nigeria many many times and I can tell you for a fact that Nigeria is the most underperforming country in Africa!! Given the fact that at independence Nigerias economy wasn't just one of the strongest in Africa, but it was stronger than the economies of most Asian nations as well, but nowadays Nigeria hasn't made Nearly as much progress as they should have! Nigeria should at least be competing with south Africa now but all we hear is Nigerians trying to compete with other west African nations which do not have half the resources you have! In Nigeria you have the extremely rich and the disgracefully poor!! With little to no middle class at all. And the poor areas in Nigeria are some of the worst I have seen in not just Africa but in my extensive travels around the world. And I am an architect, trained in the US and with great global experience so I know development when I see it. Real development, not the photocopy stuff. Cameroon for all it's flaws has a much better distribution of wealth than Nigeria, and the average Cameroonian living in Cameroon is a much happier person than the average Nigerian
