Yep. Ex hotel security here. I can't speak for all states, but in mine, we were required to keep lost items for 30 days and then toss them or return them to the person who turned it in if they want them. We would keep them for 3 months and weren't allowed to call the owner to pick them up because of the number of times in the past we called someone's wife who didn't know her husband was staying in a hotel......SO they do have plenty of time to get their items back, but we can't keep everything forever so we get rid of it/give it away. Not stealing.

That doesn’t mean Kendrick isn’t a friend with a security guard or literally anyone else with knowledge of where he was.

@@frarfarf Usually whoever turned it in, and if they don't want it, security takes it or tosses it. We weren't allowed to donate anything in the event something goes awry and someone tried to sue the hotel. This goes for leftover food as well. I watched that place throw out rolling trash cans full of food at the end of large events. It was such a bummer.

When I say fraud, I don't mean it literally lol the items are real. I meant that he doesn't have any dirt on Drake like everyone is assuming he does. He is an ex-hotel employee that wants to auction Drake's items off for money. I'm not gonna post a full explanation because I know no one wants to read it, but this is the concise version.
