My prediction for head to head matchups this season. Buffalo 2-0 Miami. 1-1 Jets. 1-1 I honestly think there going to come out 3-2 in there first five games. Starting the season 2-0. There going to win 7 games this yr and push for a wild card spot. There still going to go get Gilmore and then that defense will be able to beat up anyone. I think a lot of people expecting a no win season are forgetting our defense didn’t change. The defense can win us games as long as our offense plays semi competent football. Are we going to the playoffs? No. Are we going to be a great team? Also no. But we will be fine regardless
As a Pats fan, 8 wins would almost be a miracle. I hope you’re right, but that won’t be easy. I’ll be happy if they just show some promise the first season of this rebuild

Why does everyone think Aaron Rodgers suddenly made the Jets better than us? I'm betting we 2-0 sweep the jets. And player development is key. I think Maye could go either way stepping in early in the season or later. His knowledge and adaptability are underestimated. And our young wr room is looking fiesty. Tyquan seems forgotten and demario and kayshon plus jalynn gonna be huge and Javon was best lowkey draft there was. We need our line to step up and Kendrick and ju-ju to play to their full potential and we have a playoff team
I don’t want another top 5 draft pick, that would mean the team is a total disaster. They need to win at least a few to show Mayo knows what he’s doing and the team is trending in the right direction
@pete6705 yeah I agree. I think we hit mid teens to early 20s on draft. Even if Jacoby plays QB all season wehave the ability to be a playoff contender. The only thing we really lack that we need is speed. We aren't the fastest group and that's gonna kill us against teams like Buffalo Miami and Philly. But our defense is a clamp and all we need is our offense to do their job and we are good
Gotta have more faith than that, I believe we'll get 6-7 wins, we got 4 wins last season with a banged up defense and no weapons on offense, our OL was horrendous as well so if Maye can be slightly better than Mac was then we'll definitely pull off a few wins
Our defense will be the sole reason we win more than 2 games. Our offense needs to make significant strides to get us even remotely close to wild card contention. We are still in rebuild, I’d love to complete it and reset for a winnable division in 2025 and beyond.
I have more faith than that, but not a lot more. I’m thinking 4-6 wins. Their defense should still be good, if their offense is improved at all from last year they should be able to win a few. 0-1 wins means their offense is even worse than last year, and that doesn’t seem possible
