That's absurd. The Harry pick was horrifically bad. Ju Ju had some good years, he was the Chiefs #1 passing option when they won the SB that year. The problem is he was hurt. Maybe the Pats should have known better, but he did pass their medicals.

I was one of those people, but I’ll be happy to be wrong. I just felt like they took Meyers again basically but in the 2nd. I will say his upside is like Devante Adam’s if he hits his ceiling. Time will tell.

We don't know ANYTHING about this team. It sure is going to be interesting as hell to see it unfold though. I still can't imagine they will be the worst team in football, even worse than the Panthers. I just don't see it but stay tuned. Camp will be here before you know it.

Polk was overlooked throughout the draft process. It was a deep draft at WR overall, plus his college teammate at the same position went top 10 and cast a big shadow. Polk has always been reliable and consistent, which isn't always coveted at draft time but pays off once ball starts.

The Pats haven’t been able to draft and develop a WR for a decade. What makes you think they are able to do that now? Polk will be mid at best, and they’ll trade him to some other team at the end of his rookie contract.
Baker, Polk and Pop are going to end up being a really good receiving core. They might take a bit to develop, but like within 2 years I think they will be a surprisingly good core

The fact is the Patriots were a half a mistake away from winning more then half of there losses last year! Just subtracting Mac Jones and adding Brisset gives the pats a very good chance to make the playoffs! As long as the defense can stay healthy! I know this is not the general consensus but I truly believe that our division will produce 3 playoff teams and Buffalo will be the biggest disappointment this year in the NFL! You are right about Mac Jones single-handedly losing many games. Problem now is that we don't have Bill controlling the defense. With Belichick, we would be guaranteed to have a top defense. With Mayo, who the hell knows. That's his job though, he needs to make sure the defense stays on top. If he can't do that then time to look for the next coach because he won't be bringing anything to the table. I won't blame him for the offense or the personnel, but he better have a top defense.
That's bs and these media guys know it. Most analysts rank the Pats in the top 5 on defense. You can't be a top defense and have the worst team in the league. Their special teams is pretty good too. They have a bad offense, but much of that was Mac Jones. If Maye can be really good then the Pats ranking on offense goes way up. They will have the toughest find at the most important position. Any team should be able to build an offense around a franchise qb. WRs and coaches around the league will want to come here. Pretty hard to mess that up. If Maye isn't any good then back to the drawing board looking for the next qb.
The only thing that matters now is if Maye can be a franchise qb. If he can, there will be receivers and coaches around the league wanting to come here. Talented receivers without a qb is nothing. If Maye can be really good then a well run team will be able to make something special out of it. Takes a really bad organization to screw that up. Something like the Chargers in recent years.
