Temper your expectations. He played vs 4th stringers and his one long pass was to a wide open receiver. I’m not saying he’s bad but he wouldn’t look like that vs starters
Too soon to tell, but it is very interesting to see Milton have a good performance and strange to see Maye get so little playing time. I can understand their playing Zappe if they’re looking to trade him-but that’s the only reason I can think of 🧐 Great to see this defense do so well under Mayo: very encouraging.
Not really strange only 3 preseason games now not to smart to put your first two QBs out there. I think the competition is for the 3 spot on the depth chart. Pretty sure you’re right and they are shopping Zappe
Joe Milton is going to make it tough for the Patriots to keep him on the bench! He's naturally more gifted than Maye and Zappe and younger than Brissett. It would be another dumb move to suppress his growth when the league is in the direction it is in with Qb's like Jackson,Fields,Mahomes, Dak,Daniel's etc. The best players play,right?
