Love your series. I like listening to you explain things, and I also enjoy your videos without voice because sometimes I can't have volume. Most of all, I enjoy your vanilla building to show this game is beautiful without mods. I'd be very interested in some tips and tricks sort of videos for vanilla building, like how you mentioned the prop trick in the video but didn't get into detail about it, now I'm curious about it. Power can jump ~8 tiles or more. By spacing out individual properties you can chain them together with no need for powerlines. This, in my opinion, actually looks really good on rural roads, such as ones leading to a powerplant.
The birds eye fly over shots are literally my favorite. Helps me understand where you are building and how the city has grown and changed over time. Please keep them!
Your point about rail crossings goes even deeper: people often complain about lack of realism (say, not enough rail crossings over roads, or crosswalks, etc.) without taking into account that in real life, if we had the money and the forethought, we'd NEVER allow rails to cross at-grade with roads, and we'd minimize crosswalks with ped bridges/underpasses, etc. Their idea of realism is, rather darkly and ignorantly, a favored version of "reality" filled with death and injury. xD
love the way you design your cities! it gives a lot of inspiration to my playthroughs. Do you use any visual mod/LUT at all? i don't remember the game looking this great in vanilla 😅

The plopping of single trees into forrests is enough to drive anyone insane, let alone building your interchange. Also always amazing to see such precision builds with almost no camera movement

@@imperatur It has the problem which is only a problem with vanilla; the distance between two exits is too small, meaning cars will go one at the time and do not use the roundabout efficiently. This can be fixed by increasing the distance between the different roads on the roundabout, because now one car at the time will drive forward. In terms of how it looks it is really nice, it is just that little thing.
Yes the flying in and out is really great, please keep it up! Also: Nice that you finally decided to talk a little bit. And yeah, there most likely will always be people pi**ed because e.g. the Greta or FCB statements (not interessted, other opinion, etc.) but please keep it up as well! Your own opinion is what makes this channel unique, too. And dont worry about your German accent, mine is even worse ;)
I will admit that power generation is one of the places were us modders have a big advantage. We can put together multiple buildings, PO them to remove their function, then put a power generator cube or three in the custom power plant. There are also *FAR* better power lines available on the workshop than in vanilla. One of my favourite projects in Storm City was building a cement plant. I used several power plant assets, then made kilns with concrete pipes and used the PO modules to animate them rotating. I built my custom power plants very similiarly. You can do truly amazing things in vanilla, especially when you have the skill of an imperatur. 🤣 But sadly that can only go so far. The DLCs and some of the free updates are vanilla's saving grace, because they introduce far better assets. I hope that when CS2 comes out, they redesign the power and water systems from the start. Give people an option to not have them, so you can lay power lines for aesthetics instead of having to put them everywhere for gameplay). (On a side note, it is a train driver's worse nightmare in the U.S. to hit a person or a car, but most train drivers here say it is a rite of passage to have it happen at least once to them. It's easier for drivers on systems like Washington D.C.'s Metro, because that has a dedicated right of way and never crosses a road).

i think kicking out Nagelsmann was a mistake that could easily bring more downside than an upgrade for the current performance of bayern, i mean this kind of change can disturb the harmony of a team that is doing just fine; you cant win all and every game year after year.
I still think this is the best vanilla C:S city by far and away New roads are also very much welcome even for different playstyles, including for _shudder_ stroads
With Colossal Order having bolstered its ranks with former modders of C:S I have high hopes CS2 will have much better road manipulation tools built into the game. I will enjoy making super pretty cities with a lean modlist!
Oh Mist, ich erzähl dir dann besser nicht, dass ich Gladbacher bin... 😅😅 Aber das, was man mit Nagelsmann gemacht hat, war ihm scheiße... Ich fand die Aussage von Kimmich interessant, der eher die Mannschaft in die Verantwortung gezogen hat als Julian... Die neuen Straßen finde ich mehr oder weniger gut. Die vierspurige Highway road war mehr als überfällig, wie auch die asymmetrischen Straßen. Die anderen sind ein nice-to-have... Dafür fehlen immer noch 1U Straßen oder Fußgängerzonen, damit man kleine Gassen bauen kann...
Oh man, du machst mich so neidisch. Ich finde das Spiel echt super, schaue mir so gerne Videos dazu von dir an, aber selbst vergeht mir immer in kürzester Zeit die Lust, weil ich das nie so schön umgesetzt bekomme wie du und andere. Dann sehen mein Städte immer langweilig aus oder die Probleme häufen sich und ich bekomm sie nicht schön weg.

My cousin plays for the Basel team in Switzerland and I think he used to play for Dortmund! I think lol I never got into football like that but I know my cousin Marwin plays professionally as a goalie.
Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es so ist, aber wenn du Bäume löschst, klickst du jeden einzeln? Du kannst nämlich, wenn du einen Baum bulldozerst, gedrückt halten und über die andere Bäume drüber ziehen. Reißt dann auch nur Bäume weg und nichts anderes ^^ Ansonsten find ich deine Videos, gerade zu Vanilla, richtig gut 👍

More Power plants, yes!! , i would like Norwegian hydro power plants, the one i saw on TV was a small power plant on the river with a wooden Facia to blend the building with it's local surroundings on the forest trail where it stood, it is feature on the trail and hikers rest there and cook food on an open barbecue. also small power sub stations and rural power lines would be great for vanilla... As a Football fan i hope CS2 have better football animation & proper league & champions league.. not just play the same 5 teams and win all the time.
