That's how a barber makes money. Don't cut that much so the customer comes back within 2 weeks.

Barber myself and no this isnt true. This will last about a month before he may want to get a trim again. Reason being is he didnt just remove length from his hair. He tapered the side burns in and removed bulk/weight from his hair. So his hair lays more flat and doesnt puff out. If he waits two months it will get puffy again but by that time he should have gotten a haircut already. Most men get their haircut every 2-4weeks. This haircut is no different. It will grow out nicely just like a good fade would.
