Hey Gamesky! Great review as always. :) If the app doesn't allow you to update, it means that your earbuds have the latest update. As we continue to roll out new features, there will be a notification that pops up on your screen letting you know you have the latest version.
@@JLabAudio Yes. I had bought the air sport and a white version of the executive. Plan on upgrading the two to the anc versions, and I would like to upgrade the white executive to a white executive anc. It no rush though since I'm getting the sports anc first
I loved these as a great backup but lost them. Got another pair and get this: the newer units come with TILE in each earpiece!! I really love when TWS have a type of fund my buds feature! Definitely worth the purchase and the app is much more responsive!
I have beein using JLAB Epci Air ANC Earbuds. These are perfect for cycling and running due to the ear hook. Quality of sounc/music is very good. ANC can be turned on and off. When cycling and running outside, ANC can be turned off to hear the surroundings. ANC is effective when there is high frequency background noise, otherwise less impactful. When running on a treadmill the sweat goes into the ear cannal, so once has to use larger size ear buds which comes with JLAB bugs to minimize the sweat getting into ear canal. Very impressive battery life. For 2 hours exercise these are perfect ear buds. Watching any movide or content more than 1 or 2 hour, this can get uncomfortable. I have tried memory foam buds, to all other sizes which comes in the box, it does get uncomfortable. Microphone is not great. Just decent enough to make a call or talk when doing any cardio/exercise/cycling for emergency. Otherwise for meeting calls, mic is not great. Connectivity of these Jlabs is good and stable. Touch control on Jlab requires learning curve and one need to remember how many taps to mute or increase/decrease volume. Turning off the ear buds requires around 12 secs of holding the earbuds and pressing it. Could have been made easier. However not a big concern. To summarize, if you are looking for earbuds when cycling, running or doing any type of cardio exercise, these are perfect. For shot duration of listening to music, these are fine. Not for extended use as it can get uncomfortable. Since these are within 100 USD (can get for 79 to 89 USD), very good price point and getting the pair for cycling/running is probably best in my opinion compared to some other earbuds in market.
I don’t normally comment on things like these but I watched this video before buying these headphones and I am really glad that I got them. I got these to use at work in a shop environment working on cars and the ANC works really well for filtering out the noise of air compressors, tools, etc. Thanks for the great advice
@@kebrownnov2993 yup I think you will like them I have beaten the hell out of them for 2 months for 6-8 hours everyday and they still work great 👍 I also like that the case has so much battery time I only have charged them maybe twice since I bought them. I even had one time where my shop manager tapped me on the shoulder so I paused my music and asked him what’s up only to realize the car alarm was going off. He said it had been going off for five minutes he was wondering what I was doing haha
Got these at best Buy for 50..a steal imo and you're right I had to switch the ear buds tips to get the sound just right and the 3 eq setting is the best, also mine did update when I downloaded the app
Once the eq is properly adjusted, it actually sounds good, but i think that for people who do not know how to properly change the eq, or do not feel like searching for the best settings. It is a BIG disadvantage and is not worth purchasing. The eq and the sound quality can be good for the air anc, but many people cannot properly adjust the sound to get good comprehensive quality, or do not know how to. Also, the original eq settings are REALLY BAD!
Great video, I ordered a pair this morning for $49.l at best buy. JLab sucked me in to buy all 3 of their new ANC line! I can't wait to try the sports with anc - running nirvana, I hope
Thank you for this review. I love jlabs. I have a pair of the jlab air and love them. I don't care about ANC. I love the fact that these can let noise in. Perfect for my bike rides. Hope the go on sale soon. Again thank you
I just bought this earbuds from canadian tire.. Amazing earbuds almost using from lst 2 days still have 40percent battery left. Nic Bass and 3 options like be aware, noice cancellation on and off really gud... Love this earbuds better than expensive other brands like apple, beats, jbl and many more
These are good for a truck driver. They canceled the diesel engine noise better than the bose gc30 witch was better than anything else. They also have good bass
Jlabs have had battery issues before. I had epic sport wireless and the battery performance tanked after first week. Albeit they were not true wireless but nevertheless i want to hear from someone who have owned these for more than 30 days
These are for walking our dog if there is any rain in the forecast. Haven’t gotten them yet but I will. Great review, thanks. Looks like JLabs really wants to compete with the big boys. But if it’s dry, I’ll be using my Sennheiser 560s. Love those. Iphone 13 drives them just fine. (also have the 599se). Thanks again for the informative review!
Best Buy just delivered these to me for $50. Its cool that the charging case has a builting usb like charger wish they had put another one on it incase it breaks.
i bought the originals and 6 wears in the left earpiece started cutting out and disconnecting, and the instructions to reconnect were spotty at best and never held. IF YOU BUY THESE GET THE WARRANTY!!
Caution on buying these if you plan to use them outdoors. Direct sunlight will play havoc with the play/pause feature. Even if you turn off all touch controls they will still randomly pause. When riding a bike I only wear the one on the ear away from the sun but even then if you turn your head to look for traffic they may pause. This issue has been acknowledged by JLab support and update JT02_V3.0.6.3 was suppose to correct the problem but it failed to do so, at least on my pair. As far as indoor use they are fantastic, especially if you get them at the $49 sale price.
It's interesting you mention that because there was just an update in the firmware. And they mentioned direct sunlight in the description that I had no idea what they're talking about cuz that issue has not affected me. I hope the new update takes care of it
Just picked these up yesterday for $49 at Best Buy. Solid performance and the noise cancelling is good enough for me, given that I’ve never had other noise cancelling buds to reference. These are a nice surprise at $49.
I always have to watch your videos !!!! I did pick up a pair of this style sport, earbuds !!! So I was still curious !!! I don't need wireless charging but was surprised because many have short cable but not wireless so this was interesting !!!! And definitely for the price a very good value !!!! And may possibly recommend to others !!!!
Thanks for review BUT🤔 What you saying there's no outher noise cancelling ear buds ? 🧐 Earfun air pro which you just reviewed , BUT: Try the following, Sony, Bose, Panasonic, Amazon echo buds , technics, jabra elite 85T , master & dynamic, Apple, AU sounds AU stream, Tron smart Apollo bold,, & tozo hc9, that should give you a few to test 👍☘️
I got the app to work, it didn't actually start downloading unless i had the headphones connected to the phone and in my ears, even then it took 3 or 4 times because it kept crashing, once it downloaded i believe the headphones are actually updated themselves and sounded better. If you can get it to work i 100% recommend these headphones definitely worth the price, the ear hook is good for running these things will barely move at all, will last you a long ass time on a full charge, and has an awareness mode so it can let sounds around you in and a decent noise cancelling mode and also very intuitive touch controls that you can change yourself.
@@OfficialGamesky the reason why I get excited about long battery life on Bluetooth headphones and earbuds is because I use them for more than just music. I like to play video games for 6 or 8 hours straight sometimes or watch movies or series' on Netflix and stuff. And when you use Bluetooth earbuds or headphones for those kind of long duration moments, the last thing I want to worry about is 4-5 Hour battery life or Less. And the reason why I like the hooks around the ears aside from using them physically is also for being able to lay down on my side with them on and not worry about them slipping out of my ears since they're grabbing all around the ear while I'm watching TV or playing video games.
@@jrod8574 bruh. You and I use our ear buds the same. I'm definitely getting a pair of these when they go on sale in a couple of weeks. Perfect for my everyday life
These used to cut into the top of my ear, but they had good sound quality in terms of overall depth. These are not what you look for if you're looking for deep audiophile bass.
This would have been perfect for doing an active job with a loud machine. But the ANC isnt strong enough... Its better to use their other epic anc ear buds with ear muffs.
Thanks for the review!!! These look tempting... The highs being a bit higher is a good thing when you are working out as they "evaporate" a bit... and then for casual listening you can eq them... The price is quite good too, imo... this is how much the original ones without ANC and Ambient mode etc were until a couple of months back at least (89 dollars they were)...
Idc what preset modes you can pick. The EQ custom sound is all I want and the battery life. Apple needs to take notes. This has everything they have yet they said let’s add 2-3 scoops of creatine and eat more. So after that happened these came out and power slammed apple and beats products. For every day use nothing more nothing less there are a buy and I keep seeing someone got them for $49.99 sheesh I need these deals.
I got them there too but I think the right bud its not holding charge as it should have you noticed anything weird with either one? The apps says one is 100% charge and the right one is 95% are yours the same?
@@Pars_and_Cigars_Golf Damn really? That sucks, no wonder they are at 50% off did he buy them at bestbuy too? I really like all the features I might return them 🤔
@@JoHekmatyar he did and got the 2 yr replacement for the 13.99... which best buy has one of the easiest warranty exchanges.... he loves them and keeps getting them. He like the sound quality and phone call quality over his beats pro..
For a guy who goes to the gym 3x a week, who listens to music with buds at work and who takes the odd phone call, would you recommend the JLab Epic Sport or Tribit Movebuds H1? I'm kinda new to this. I prefer JLab for wireless charging, but it isn't a deal breaker. Thanks.
Dude I SWEAR I was just at Bestbuy looking at these and the other Epic Air Anc because they on sale for $50 bucks. Was looking to see which was better....HELP ME DECIDE ....LOL U be on time...love it!
Crazy ip66. Ive never seen an ip66 on any earbuds except for this one. Let me correct the video... ip66 is dust protected ( not resistance ) literally it protects from dust... just to give you an idea, its the 2nd from the last best ip rating.. the 2nd place is ip67 and the best IP in the world is ip68... so having an ip66 is incredible.. also its protected against powerful power jets water( not just resistence, it actually protects )
Hey Gamesky, quick question: how is the ambient sound on these? I think you forgot to mention it though as usual, I took the liberty to buy it based on your review😊
What’s the loudest ambient sound you’ve heard? My friend with impaired hearing tried on my jabra 75ts and said they work as well as her hearing aid increasing her hearing from 30% to about 40%. Are there any buds that immediately come to mind that greatly increase outside sound on ambient mode?
This is crazy.. the old ones are more expensive in amazon uk than the new ones in amazon us... the new ones are nowhere to be found in eu amazon sites... a page has been prepared for uk though
My touch buttons rarely work, anc doesn't really work at all, they have to reconnect all the time thru my case if they've been sitting for a few hours.. many complaints
I believe Sony‘a WFSP800N/B were the first ANC sport earbuds, no? Personally, I didn’t find em that great for something geared towards working out. Ended up returning em
Hi , I have a charging issue, when I connect them to PC or a charging module they charge just for 1 min . Then, just stop charging. Can I get some help please??!
Bought mine for $50 on best buy yesterday they're still on sale. They are amazing for the price, love my skullcandy sesh but they are straight garbage compared to these.
The Jabra Elite 75t just got an update that added ANC. Any chance we will see a second look at them? I have them and I like the feature but I was wondering how the added ANC stacked up to other contenders.
