@@ObsessedGarage can you use a CR Spotless Simple Chuck Spotless Water System with this machine? Or would it be to hard on it? Also how can I get that short nozzle your using on that EGO blower sitting in the background?
"I'm not saying you're crayon eating idiots who can't read, but if you overpay me for stuff that you could get anywhere else for half the price, you probably have a pretty smooth brain, so I'll show you how to use plumbing fittings myself"
@@carlod545 it won't hurt anything to use DI tanks in line. I use a On the go water softner paired with a DI Rinse pro 50 and seen no effect in operation
I'm the same way. If you don't mind me psychoanalyzing us both. I think this is a very masculine thing to do. It's really about money. A company providing us a product for a certain price and then screwing us over with lower specs or reduced life have metaphorically cucked us as men and stolen our livelihood. Spending hours researching a product to save a couple hundred dollars isn't about the money it's about 'beating' the enemy who is attempting to steal our hard earned resources. Men don't like getting taken advantage of. We will avoid it at all costs even if we waste potentially more time and money avoiding the tricks it was worth it to us because we didn't get swindled.
Never forget where you came from or you will turn in to the asshole that made your life hell when you first started. That's not the kind of person to be.
I feel like someone in the media team tried to tell Matt he had to be nicer to people, which is what resulted in "Don't be an idiot... I assume your intelligent, but quit being an idiot" and "I'm sure you're a nice person, but quit being dumb" If that is what happened, thank you, because that just made this into gold.
I've had that pressure washer for a little over a year and couldn't find any reviews on it. Took a shot in the dark and it's been running strong. Glad to see this product getting the recognition it deserves.
I bought the ultimate AR from you. I was one of those idiots about the fittings but only worse. I first ordered an extra fitting before I sent the email. I ordered a cart for mine and made the AR mobile. I did the fittings exactly as stated. I had to order a 22 or 24mm wrench. Not 1 leak. I was blown away how much power the AR has. I also bought the wand fitting set from OG so I could do house washing. Very happy with it and love not hearing a gas engine.
Replaced a underwhelming Dewalt 2400psi pressure washer that would not produce foam even with 1.1 orafice...and got a Active VE52 and decided to go for water flow vs pressure...as I will be using to wash car much more than side of house or patio. Hooked it all up today with Flexzilla hose with quick connects, Uberflex pressure hose with quick connects, MJJC Foam Cannon, Mega Foam, Tire Cleaner, etc. Where the Dewalt 2400 spit foam and was very runny....this thing looked like I was laying down layer of snow on ski slope. Like night and day performance. No leaks, no issues, no worries.... Thanks for the reviews.
Watched the video because of the comment saying you were being obnoxious and impatient! Glad to hear you like us Canadians eh! I like the format of finally just telling people what they need and to stop thinking they know better. Lord knows no one else has put in the work you have.
I’m late to the party but alot of great lines in this one. My favorite is “customer service=entitlement”. It’s my favorite because I have to deal with customers daily. LOVE IT!!
I bought this as my first pressure washer for my detailing business. So far so good, ive done 10 cars and have had zero problems whatsoever so far. Thanks for the recommendation.
I have this exact pressure washer but it’s branded simonize here in Canada and it’s a Canadian tire brand but identical to this one and being able to pick it up for $200 Canadian when there’s a sale it’s definitely worth it’s weight in gold makes plenty of foam in my cannon and easily portable
To avoid all the emails I would suggest putting a piece of paper or colored plastic ribbon between the fittings. It would give people a visual that the piece separates.
5:24 and I'm dead. I wouldn't have imagined this was ever a problem. I just got three in the mail and thought, "Hey, that's nice that they sent these together."
" if you don't like me, I don't care"... 👍 One of my favorite song lyrics of all time from Neil Young's Old Man... "It doesn't mean that much to me to mean that much to you". Love the videos & the attitude!
I’ve grown my business due to massive information dumps like these videos. I truly thank you for what you do and I’ll continue to order the best of the best from your shop! I’m obsessed.
I have had this pressure washer washer for a year. As soon as we buy our next house this year, I can't wait to punt this thing into the woods like an IK foamer, and get set up with a Kranzle unit. It's an ok entry level set up, but it's nothing to aspire to have.
I know this is an old video but I’ve been using a 1.1 orifice in my foam cannon for 2 years now with my active/Simoniz pressure washer if you didn’t already know Simoniz is the Canadian version made by active
LOL...Hilarious...Matt is CRAZY, we know that and...it's great. I'm obsessed ALREADY and now, I'm getting obsessed about my Garage. I WILL NEVER take the Fox stickers off the Fork on my Yeti but, I was convinced to order that Ultimate gun setup and HO. LEE. CRAP. It's friggin' AMAZING. Don't think about it, just close your eyes and press "BUY" and you won't regret it. It's STUPID GOOD. So much so that since I was starting on the Kool Aid I bought 3 Pressol Industrial v1.3 LMNOP spray bottles and...WHO KNEW a SPRAY BOTTLE could be so awesome. I feel WEIRD about liking this channel and buying these things but DANG. It proves you can obsess about ANYTHING...and it be worth it. I will be "giving" you more money...
Btw... if you take off the side bits, it squeezes in to the bottom shelf of a small IKEA cart. Wrap the cord around the cart, mount a tube / pipe on the side, and you’ve got a decent little wheel around setup.
Pretty much exactly what I was thinking. I’m 40 years old and consider myself successful. I still can’t justify paying for a kranzle. I will however be getting one of these. Tired of using my gas PW. Great and affordable option!
My sunjoe, stuck in the dusty corner of my garage, hooked up to cox reel/kobrajet hose/sgs gun, has lasted for two years now. All season washing in NJ across three cars. Will probably go for this once that kicks
Go on active’s website and check the reviews before buying this washer. Mine lasted 7 months with minimal use. Yes, 2 year warranty, but good luck getting a reply from the cs team.
Here's a challenge. I live in an apartment. I need to wash my f80 m3. I have no access to electricity. I have to bring everything from my apartment via an elevator to my parking lot to wash my car. How about doing an episode on building out a portable wash cart solution? Maybe a sonic cart with some tools as well for basic car maintenance (brakes oil change). Keep up the good work guys!
Im new to this channel but the smart remark regarding his customers seemed entertaining in a sense that his previous video showed me he never heard the concept of right tighty lefty loosey
That's funny about the quick connect. I had a yard guy who actually cut my hose and then repaired it because he couldn't figure out the Eley QC! So just send the customers the QCs not connected...
I love how easy it would be to just not package them together and not have to field another phone call again. Your refusal to do the smart thing makes you, not dumb, just interesting.
Is the ve56 a newer model than the ve52? You mentioned minor updates every 6 months, does the model name change or is there any way to see or know what has been updated?
probably the coolest sales-video I've seen in years. Totally honest. You can tell this gent runs a company and manages people. ('herds cats'). Love it. I think I'm buying one of these washers.
Matt just says what most if us rational people think, but have been led to believe that you aren't supposed to say out loud. I admire that freedom. This is the upside of being an entrepreneur, no censorship from management.
Genuinely and really enjoy Matt in this video. Feel like this is the real version of Matt. All the other videos until now were just Matt trying to be another person. You look alot more comfortable in this video
use this pressure washer for a couple months however, the pump gave out. but now that there's a nice solution from you guys, im tempted to try it once again.
Haven't watched an OG vid in some time, but sarcasm and cynical Matt aside, you sound good. Less stressed, more leveled out. This pressure washer seems to be a winner. Best bet would be the ultimate accessories with this unit. Accessories will outlast the unit, and migrate nicely as you upgrade to the next tier washer.
HAHA - once you started throwing the crap away that you're not going to use I started to lean in... my type of review... You're also the only person who talked about noise level which is a main buying point for me.
Thanks to this I discovered a o-ring break in my inlet hose QD. Always leaked from day one and ive seen other Active videos leaking in the same area. I never looked 😆 once replaced, leaks gone and the unit did not kick on/off once when i used today.
Hello Matt !! Just placed my first order with Obessed Garage !! I am upgrading a few things, based on your experience. So thank you. I will add, I really enjoy your RU-vid channel and don't even mind when you tell us we're smart not idiots lol. I think you overestimate some of us, or mabye just me 😂 The only constructive criticism (complaining) I have is DON'T Sip water into the mic !! It makes my skin crawl 👀😁👍
Glad Matt came around to the Active. I asked about it a few months ago on the pod cast and he wasn’t interested. It’s a good machine (so far, 8 months in).
Funny I just ordered this on Amazon yesterday and will be doing a review. I had the VE51 which got me 1.6 GPM tested using the SG28 and a 3.5 orifice at 900 PSI. It was only $115 and was wall mountable.
That's a bad ass pressure washer right there. I'm just window shopping right now and sticking with my cheap 150 dollar pressure washer from Lowes. Great video!
I mentioned this awhile back in the FB group, but never pull the trigger on the gun without something plugged in, eg wand, foam cannon, nozzle, as you WILL blow out the O-ring. You will never find it, so order extra O-rings.
Nice video. Since you specifically mention Canadians at rhe end of the vid, I would suggest you focus more on the accessory kit than the pressure washer unit as it is readily available here at Canadian Tire stores under the Simoniz brand. It also regularly goes on sale. I know because I bought one not long ago and I am modifying it just like you did... Just waiting for roads to be cleaned up from salt and crap from winter before I test it. Cheers.
Thank you guys so much for this you cant imagine how essential you are to the industry especially for us newbies 😅. So i checked your website and came up with the following questions: 1) since its out of stock can you give me a rough estimate on when you will have it in stock again ? 2) Since i dont live in the states do you guys ship overseas to Qatar? Stay awesome!
