The new lrp 32 spec 4.1, basically the same as the previsous .32, spec4. Turbo burn room, new connecting rod, extra mid adjustment needle (useless imo) but i have to admit that the engine is running really good! Super easy break-in, easy start, idles for ever! dorp to idle perfect - still running rich
I haven't posted in a while!! i was very busy.. but from now on i should have more free time to burn nitro!

Hell yeah B! Finally somebody knowledgeable whose opinion I can trust got this engine. I’ve been on the fence about it.. was worried it might be as bad as my original .32 The sleeve looks way better and your base tune on tank 8 sounded good. I like how they switched to a turbo hotplug. looks like it helps with a stable idle now. Compared to that cold plug before.

Thank you! i have the .32 V1 7 and 5 ports and the .28, this is the first time that I am not disappointed with an lrp! ports, sleeve machining .. still not great but this was the easiest break in i have ever done (Novas and Piccos included), stock carb settings are perfect for the first start and now she's running very consistant at good temp. Fuel mileage is terrible ..

I've been flying nitro places for 45+ years and only recently started playing with nitro powered buggy/truggy type cars. What is painfully clear to me now is, there's a MASSIVE difference between nitro airplane vs nitro car engines. I would have quit flying nitro planes 40 years ago if those engines were as hard and temperamental as my LRP and other brands hat I just collected all up and chucked in the garbage. Yall can have it.

I understand you! I am aware of what I buy, I know how finicky they are (99% of the time because of the carb) ... Most people don't know what to expect when buying these and end up hating nitro because of these poor quality engines. But there are good ones, very good ones and I promise you that you would not have this opinion of a picco, an OS or an FX, check out my OS and picco videos

Awesome video as always. I am fairly new to nitro but I really enjoy your videos and they inspire greatly. Keep them coming :) Do yuo have any tip for a good set of truggy tires for my Revo 3.3? I really want the badlands but they seems impossible to find. Do you have any other tip for wheels (1/2 offset) and tires? Many thanks

Thank you! I have 3 sets of badlands and i dont know what im goind to do when they wear out.. there is nothing like badlands. Check arrma tires, i believe it will be a good option to replace the badlands. I used to have a set of arrma 'dboots back-flip', they look like badlands but the rubber is stiffer

You tuned that engine exactly backwards. Now your almost into a double idle. Always close the idle gap screw first, then lean the low speed. Come on man! Lol. Good video.

I have a 32 LRP pull start in my savage xl and it is almost too much for it. I'm sure my TLR truggy would love something like this!

C'est du lourd et il tourne rond, le truggy par contre n'ést pas au top, l'embrayage semblait patiner a moins que ce ne soient les diffs qui ont perdu toute leur huile, problème récurent avec ce modèle...

Picco P3TT is the same price, but a proper race engine with more than perfect machining, ceramic bearings and all. Maybe its 95% as powerful. Well worth considering it.

I totally agree and from that point of vue there are many others way higher quality engines in the same range of price (argus 21k3, reds 521 sport, spower 5p made by picco) but i cant run them in my monster trucks !( I have all parts need to install a pullstart on this engine). Nowadays there are very few brands left that still make rtr-pullstart engines thats why we should give credit where credit is due!

Looking back at it, I wish they fixed the crank. It’s so poorly designed. The counterweight is literally nonexistent which wouldn’t do good for any engine but especially an engine with a piston that big. It vibrates so much I’m surprised it doesn’t shake itself apart when running

Sorry for the late reponse, im on vacations! I totally agree, no counter weight and a huge piston.. the engine is not designed to last. And i think that tehe crankshaft is the same as the 28, same part, less production costs

Yes, this is the New 4.1.. same carb as the 4 but with a mid range speed needle, useless needle for most of us. Doesn't tune better than the previous version but better than the 32 pullstart carb wich is the cheapest lrp carb, non insulated

I'm going to have to continue using it and set it a little high because it doesn't want to make me low, much less let it be tuned
