This bike gets so much right: - TR versions (even in carbon) - Seat tube steep enough to function in TR mode as well - Seat tube short enough - 30.9mm seat tube for dropper compatibility - Seat clamp split not facing backwards towards the spray from the tyre - Long and slack enough - Enough comfort/traction from the seat stay’s - Small 20mm jumps in reach so you’re never in between sizes - Size specific chainstay lengths - Clearance for 2.4 tyres - Threaded bottom bracket And then they add head tube cable routing… sigh. It feels like it's completely designed in the UK by someone who knows what they're doing and then wire port was slapped on by the product managers/marketing department in Asia.
big nine 600 been 12.1 kilo , new 700 is about 14kilo. shitty mt200 brakes, 6100 derailleur instead of xt , say goodbay to expert rims. sems like times when merida been best value are past away
I would like to know why Merida has the gall to bring only 2 models from the Big Nine series and yet not a single TR model on the German market. The things are designed in Germany, and yet we are fobbed off in Germany with 2 poor models? You should damn quickly rethink your market policy. I and many others punish such a thing mercilessly by taking our hard-earned money to another manufacturer without ifs and buts.
Hi, all of our national distributors are independent and choose which models they want to bring into their region. We'd suggest getting in touch with them anyway to see if they can help, you can find all their contact details here: www.merida-bikes.com/en/p/about-us/distributors-worldwide-139.html Regards, MERIDA
