The New Originals Jazz Club with Santrofi 

One of our favorite Ghanians bands, made up of a talented 8-headed band, led by Emmanuel Ofori after meeting each other playing for various legends as Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas and Kwashibu Area Band.
The name derives from Ghanaian Akan mythology, Santrofi, a very rare, bright colored bird with four wings. It symbolizes prosperity, beauty and the power of song. Not surprising, then, that the band Santrofi took their name from this.
Covering Hi-life, funk, afro-beats and more, this eclectic band performs songs from their album Alewa (2020).
