Derek Carr seems to have problems finding receivers. Every play whether short yards or long yards are needed he drops back way too far then gets sacked when he can't find anyone. When Payton and Brees would have a short yardage situation, Drew would take a couple steps back and find a receiver cutting across. Of course the offensive coordinator is making the wrong calls most of the time.

They should hire Bill Musgrave. Carr’s best years were 2015-2016 when Musgrave was OC. I also like Musgrave’s West Coast style more than Gruden’s. Musgrave made more use of power and counter running plays, and he stretched the field more. Gruden likes the short pass. Even better would be to hire Gruden as HC, Musgrave as OC and slide Allen over to DC.

All these Carr lovers never putting any blame on him. He finally has a Defense and he still can’t win. Once a raider always a raider, but he’s just not the solution. People going to find out

The Saints havetTwo main problems. The offensive coordinator and quarterback. They need to get another play caller and bench Derek. That would solve their offensive problems.

You can come up with all the excuses for Carr you want but Gruden and Carr went 22-53 together not counting bissaccia’s stent. People say Carr knows Gruden’s offense. Yeah he did and went 22-53. Now, He has a defense, better O-line (than raiders), better weapons. You can say it’s coaching but Gruden won’t make a difference. Carr looks exactly the same as he did in OAK/LV. Couple of good games, then average play.

There are a few moves that the team could make. Everyone wants Gruden, but Bill Musgrave would be another great option, or they could even try to make a trade for Ben Johnson from the Lions. Goff and Carr are similar players, and if they made that move they could offer him the Head Coach job at the end of the season. Unfortunately I think the price would be too high to pry him away from Detroit.
