Jerry always crack me up with his “that’s all I can do with my old eyes, red dot, and stiff trigger”. The man shoots better with these “handicaps” than most do in their prime. Lol. Well done Jerry!
I don't know if I can recall where, but it doesn't matter; someone made a comment about a potential robber seeing Jerry sitting on a park bench feeding pigeons and having no idea who he is. Yuge error.
Big Daddy Zoom. I think I just reported you for "misinformation or scam" or something of that sort. Your post was right under mine. My intention was to report a scammer and I clicked on your post by mistake I think. I want to apologize ahead of time if it causes you problems.
Sir I like your energy and I can't wait to slow down from work and began to buy me a couple of pistol but I will stick to Smith and Wesson brand, I want a 38 Caliber 357 Caliber and 9mm.
my next firearm, is going to be a 9mm carbine,, for one thing my pistols are all 9mm, and all i reload right now is 9mm..so its what i need...just need find which brand going to work for me...
a fishing guide in AK , 33 years w/o having to shoot a bear, a griz came after the husband and wife clients , the guide came to distact the bear, the man grabbed his wife and fell back to the brush, even 3 ft from the couple the bear seemed to lose them and came after the guide, The guide felt like he would have to shoot, he only had a S&W 910, he moved for side shots at vitals, he really knew the anatomy of the bear, he fired 5 shots as fast as he could , it was snapping at each hit, it turned around an caught a sixth and in 20 ft it fell dead. There are pictures of the bear with heavy bleeding from its mouth . He got his clients to safety, The Fish and Game came with his daughter to help him skin the bear, he found four rounds , one round went sideways thru the bear and was caught in the opposite side skin. I know this doesn' t sound right when some people think the 9mm isn't enough for protection , humans. The pictures can be seen at Buffalobore.com . Just click on 9mm +P outdoorsman rd. 147 grain +P Hard cast 1100 fps. it will take you there, I like Buffalo bore, I have non lead hollow points in my 1911 , Copper Barnes bullets +P+ Buffalo bore says if all you have is a 45 in bear country , load the hard cast rounds , the never said 9mm. The guides excellent shooting killed a griz with 6 hard cast bullets, some people shoot at a bear with african big game bullets, like a strait on attack, 416 rigby and get mauled, You need to learn about the bear before hand, In brush carrying your rifle , hunting moose, come fifty feet from a griz that attacks at 35 miles an hour, and never get a shot off and ended up with there head in the bears mouth, true story. His partner took eternity to get a clear shot at the bear, the victim did survive. I had an attempted home invasion 2 weeks ago, 3 guys, I convinced them to take off. Now, I probably should'nt load over - penetrating hard cast in my carry gun, i have one as the last shot, hail mary, and the +P+ for the rest. A most amazing story! Jerrys mention that some people don't think 9mm is enough, the have the same depth wound cavity as a 45. the hollow point is what keeps it from completely over penetration.
@@JoeRogansForehead he used to compete, in like the 80s or 90s i think. he mentions it in an old cz 75 video of his. some of his most sentimental firearms are competition winnings.
I am 70 and had cataract surgery last year. I was at the range last Saturday shooting my S&W Shield 9mm. I was able to see and shoot great. I still wear glasses for reading.
There were several things on this carbine that made me go "wow" as he revealed it! Love how the grip is the same as the M&P pistol. What an ingenious AR training friendly charging handle.
For some reason, this video hits differently today. Two days ago, 8/31, my last grandparent passed away. I just really appreciate this video for some reason...
Smith and Wesson have really hit it out of the park with their M&P line. Everything they come out with, is EXCELLENT. They have become my favorite manufacturer, and I am proud to own their products!!!
Their M&P ARs have had problems in the past with crappy stocks and such, but they are absolutely the masters of the revolver! I will say this carbine looks like im going to be in the doghouse from my wife! 🤣😂🤣😂
Unfortunately Smith & Wesson doesn't sell a lot of their stuff in Canada. Although I was lucky enough to get an m&p 2.0 9mm before the freeze. And I have to say I love it, hope I can own more of their products at some point
THANK YOU I wanted a 9mm carbine more than 223 but people said not a good self defense. This gun proves I can have what I want and defend myself and have fun at the range. I always appreciate your skill and teaching about projectiles.
Jerry is dead-eye! Those 100 yd groups were impressive for a fellow on his first engagement with that carbine. He's right about the price and accessories too.
I'm actually very excited about this. I LOVE my M&Ps and I'm especially a fan of pistol caliber carbines. It seems the real advantage of this is 1) Optic mounting and 2) quick deployment. I will be following reviews and keep my eyes out for one when available.... for the right price of course.
Still enjoy watching you even after all these years. First time I ever saw you shoot was on a vhs tape my dad bought at the shooting range by my house and your still just as cool thanks for being humble about the incredible amount of skill and talent you have
Thank u. Glad 2 see someone else say it. Doubt it'll ever happen & even if it did the msrp will go from $650 to $900. For what reason other than (they can) i couldn't tell you.
The ammo boxes behind you are fascinating - any type of ammo for any type of gun is probably there! And a lifetime of exemplary disciplie - always making sure the gun is safe, never once taking things for granted.
I have never really been a PCC fan due the price... Until now... Looks like S&W has hit the mark. I just might have to have one of these! And as Jerry says... "Get some!"
Jerry is quite simply a shooting god. Always love watching his videos, it's like watching an economics expert discuss economics or a Frenchman discuss wine and cheese. Jerry is pure quality.
I've always wondered what a kel-tek would look like if it wasn't covered in screws like a Nerf gun. Maybe this one will actually be in stock at gun stores, unlike kel.
@RawBot When I bought mine it was around that price. I damn sure wouldn’t pay $600 for the S&W. The KelTec and this S&W aren’t home defense guns IMO, they’re fun little backpack toys.🍻
My issue with keltec isn’t the Lego look it’s the lack of reliability. I’ve own four, two were complete trash. A p3at .380 and the .22 mag semi auto. The two sub 2000’s were good. The extractor on the .380 bent every two mags. Wasn’t properly heat treated. Replaced the extractor twice before I figured out what was wrong and heat treated it myself. The .22 mag was junk before and after it was sent in to get “fixed”. One of the sub 2000’s front sight is all the way to one side just to have it sighted in. At least they run though.
Sub 2k is always in stock near me, I just can't stand shooting the one my dad has. To be fair it's not accurate compared to cheaper 9's but at least it jams up all the time to make up for it.
I think this has refined the kel tec design to a level that’s good enough for home defense. This is coming out at the right time too with the brace ban coming. I wouldn’t use one over a stribog or a scorpion, but I think s&w just set the bar for cheapest Pcc I would take seriously( ruger charger and extar gen2 not withstanding). Now in a year when all the major pcc come out with their “solution” to the brace ban(16” barrel, folding) it may be a new king
Mr. Jerry being surprised at hitting six out of six shots on target is like Steph Curry being surprised he went six of six for 3pts in a game. Y'all the goats of shooting.💯🐐 #Facts
That's not a bad carbine for $650. Love how barrel folds back. Wonder if they have options on barrel length. Be pretty sweet if they had a short/mid/long barrel kit for it
They should sell one with a short 5.5 or 7 inch barrel as a pistol and make the longer barrels available for it. As we know, you can go from pistol to rifle, but not rifle to pistol.
I've read some comments around the net saying S&W ripped off the Kel-tec design. Yes...partly. This looks more like a real gun, & being able to fold it without removing the optic is huge improvement.
@@wendyandwalter40 Still though if someone wants an optic that's a huge drawback that it can't fold with one attached. Both this and the Sub 2000 have the issue of not having a rail far enough back to mount a scope that has normal eye relief. And yeah not that many people are gonna want to mount a scope, but for those that do a scout or pistol scope are about your only options.
@@redtra236 Of course the second generation one figured out how to twist the barrel it folds and has an internal compressor. Pretty sweet if you can afford it and the tax stamp
Nice videos! I was in one of your security guard firearms training class in California a few years back. Feel great-full to be trained by a living legend.

If anyone looks at this and doesn’t go “hey a sub2000 that folds the other way” is blind. All they did was look at the sub2000 sales and complaints numbers and went yeah if we do that a little better there is money to be made. It’s like if keltec actually listened to their customers.
In a market where keltec sub2Ks are selling for $450-500, the price of this is in line with that. In a normal market the sub2K would be at $349 and this FPC would be at $450-499. I would have preferred less of a dumptruck of a stock. If it held just one magazine and kept it slimmer it would be easier to put in a laptop bag or backpack. Still, everything else about it looks fantastic! I hope the price comes down and the aftermarket makes a slimmer stock. All that being said, they sure sold out the first batch fast!
Seeing this, I immediately had a question that sadly wasn't answered in the review. Will it take aftermarket triggers for current m&p pistols? One of the things I loved about m&ps is that even though the factory triggers have often left a lot to be desired; aftermarket kits, like those from Apex, can bring the triggers further ahead in crispness and feedback than most other striker fired platforms can get to.
You sir are amazing! I would never have bet that gun could pull that accuracy off. I've never really wanted or had use for a 9mm PCC but I kind of want now.
When I call my dad, he claims he's doing something mundane, like cooking or a crossword puzzle. Now we know what these old boys do when no one is looking.
When I first saw photos of that I thought it looked like a 3/4 scale MG 42; the rise in the receiver above the trigger group, the angle of the pistol grip, the flutes on the barrel shroud, the bulk of the stock. The take down lever even looks like the barrel change handle.
Just got one just before Thanksgiving, well built, lots of polymer but solid, not cheap feeling. Definitely worth having for fun (and home defense) and great truck- camp gun. S&W got this right.
Jerry you're an absolute beast, As someone who has shot multiple times looking to purchase a few firearms, your videos are timeless! Thanks for all that you do!
Thanks for the show Jerry! You're my inspiration for the competition! I'm trying to get competitive with my little m&p. I'm going to gun range as often as I can.
That is an amazing firearm! The fact that it’s mag compatible is awesome! Love the simple design and the way it breaks down. 10” barrel makes it absolutely perfect!
At first I would say that S&W missed the point to make it take Glock mags like Ruger did with their PC-9 Carbine, but those 2 extra 23 Rd S&W mags on boards sure make me like this set up, heck with Glock mags!!!! I'm in as soon as I get the money!!!!
I always said I never had a reason or even wanted to purchase a PCC until now. Being a huge fan of the M&P lineup I will be adding this to the collection
Can't wait to get my hands on one! Love my Keltec sub2000 and am excited about this one. Seen a lot of mixed emotions with this in the keltec groups but chances are those are more mcarbo than Keltec anyways lol
Two of my favorite guys in the gun tube area Miculek and Chris from honest outlaw both putting out these products video so close, leads me to believe that as an investor and as an enjoyer of the s&w products, I've got my poop pretty well in a group 🤷🏼♂️😂
Wish they would make a new Red Dawn where Jerry had at least a 20 minute scene, where he's like casted as a classic gun store owner, with plaid shirt tucked in, and he pretty much causes a lot of enemy casualties and stuff..
Man SW is really impressing me. I feel the pros of having a good, hopefully reliable carbine right out of your back pack outweighs any cons it may have. A very interesting useful design that looks like a blast to shoot!
I like it. But" I've been hunting for 50 years. What's it for ? Blind guys or war? Remember when one shot was a measure of a marksmanship. Seems like not just any Tom dick or Harry should be able to Acquire this type of WEAPON with What's going on in the world these days.
Looks great. It should come with a flash hider from the factory. Also wish it took glock mags (great for M&P fanboys but glock mags are EVERYWHERE). Mag position in stock is upside down but that's engineers for you. Love the videos Jerry!
It's a *pistol* caliber carbine. It shoots rounds meant to expel all the powder in a 5 inch barrel out of a 16 inch barrel. There's no flash to hide my dude.
I watched this video and Hickok45.... I was sold. I picked mine up today. I can't wait to try it out next week. Just looking at the gun, holding it, and adding a 4 x 32 scope... I love it. Thank you for this video!
"What we have" is a complete rip off of Kel-tecs folding blow back operated 9mm carbine that accepts hand gun magazines that they released 10 years ago.
WOW very inexpensive pcc. Personally I love the amazing quality both in my Christensen ca9 and cz scorpion evo, BUT the christensen was 1600$ and the scorpion was 1000. I know im spoiled rotten but if I was looking for budget, I would have definitely held out for this pcc.
Smith & Wesson stands behind their guns. I developed a trigger issue with an M&P 2.0 9mm. Quick call and they sent me shipping label and returned a great gun. 10mm is really nice gun as well. This new S&W carbine will be my next addition.
I love my old Marlin Camp 9mm PCC. It uses my S&W 9mm mags and is as accurate as I need it to be. I have 10shot mags all the way up to 30 shot mags and they're all interchangeable. 1974 baby!
